The C-17 Globemaster is becoming a constant presence at airshows around the world.
We had it at Aero India.
We had it at Farnborough last year.
We brought it to the Paris Airshow this year.
It really is so distinct that as you get customers on the airplane and they can see the capability
it brings and the size and the flexibility it brings, it almost sells itself.
At the Paris Airshow, the capabilities were on display on the ground and in the air.
The C-17 was recently delivered to the United Arab Emirates, and international interest
in the aircraft is continuing to grow because of the unique range of capabilities the aircraft
can provide.
This is a very unique airplane.
Yes, it's built for war fighting, but it has tremendous abilities in humanitarian arena.
It can carry four times the cargo that a C-130 carries, twice the cargo of an A-400.
It really is a unique fighting capability, transport capability.
Once you're in the C-17, you can see what makes it such a popular airplane.
It can take plenty of room for cargo, troop transport, or delivering humanitarian aid.
And it's also very maneuverable in some of the world's most difficult areas.
I'm very proud when I do fly it because it's just so capable.
The capabilities on the ground and in the air make the C-17 not only a constant at airshows,
but also wherever in the world it's needed.
The C-17 is the world's most advanced airlifter.
We can go direct to the fight where the supplies are needed and get it there quickly.
