Well, this is Troy. I got a word from the Lord to share with you today.
And to be honest, y'all, I got into my office today and I had a lot of things to do this week.
I'm going to try to take a little time off for Christmas break and just to be with the kids
while they're out of school and stuff. And so kind of excited about that, but also just did
not want to work this week. And so I'm being obedient, doing what the Lord's asking me to do.
But the good news is, you know, even with that, like the presence of the Holy Spirit
just came so strong today as I turned on some worship music and started worshiping the Lord.
And I'm often reminded about how in our weakness, he's strong and his strength is made perfect and
he shows forth, you know, and oftentimes the Lord will use those things in those days to say,
hey, you weren't the one doing it in your own strength anyways, you know, so why are you trying
so hard on your own instead of just relying on me? And so I've gotten a couple of words to share
with you today before we get into that, have a few other things, some announcements. First,
I recently shared a one week word back in November, one week prophecy timeline. And then I
shared another word that had a 24 hour timeline on it. Both of those words were accurately fulfilled
and I followed up on both of them on Friday in a live stream. So if you missed that and you want
to see are these recent prophetic words coming to pass or not, I encourage you to watch that
because I did a deep dive and a very comprehensive look at those two prophecies specifically and what
came to pass and what took place afterwards. So there's that, but then also if y'all haven't
checked out the link to my new book on Amazon, I actually got that and I announced that Friday too.
I've got that, a physical copy of it now in my hands. So like this is like an early version
or whatever. So it's not out yet, but you can pre-order it on Amazon. It's coming out February
3rd. Super excited about it. It was when I got the book, I was like, wow, that's a lot thicker
than I thought it was going to be. I thought it was going to be like, yeah, I don't know what I
was thinking, but anyway, so excited about that. But this is what I heard. This is about money.
It's about finance. Some people say God doesn't talk about money. God doesn't talk about politics,
that kind of stuff. My response is go read the Bible. He talks about both things in scripture
and actually the Holy Spirit is willing to talk about anything that pertains to our lives because
he is a person, because he's an individual, and we are people, and he speaks to us about things that
are important to people, right? And money is necessary for life. Now, Jesus did say you can't
serve both God and money. You can only serve one master. You're going to hate the one and love the
other. So as believers, when we get tempted to walk down that path, we've got to allow the Holy
Spirit to correct our hearts and to bring us back to the truth. And so the Lord told me to say this
to you earlier today, and I'm just going to say it now, and then I'm going to go into this word
about Trump and the market. The Lord told me over half of the channels online that are talking about
wealth transfer are lying. Over half of the channels that use that tag, that phrase,
that tagline, wealth transfer, are lying. Why would they be lying? Well, there's a lot of AI
out there. There's a lot of people copying other people's stuff or replicating it. But it's also,
it is a buzzword in a certain community online to get clicks and views and likes. And so when
somebody says that, be aware and put the red flag up and ask the Holy Spirit, say,
is this person from you or not? Don't just listen to stuff, and especially don't just believe stuff
and run with it just because they use a certain phrase or something like that. Jesus warned about
false prophets. The Apostle Paul warned about false prophets, false teachers. And that is going
to be more and more and more the case online, especially the further we go down this path
towards the end. It's just going to happen more and more. And it's more readily, it's more easy
for people to have a voice and to just say whatever they want to say. And they don't have
to be telling the truth. They can just lie about it and then get views and clicks and likes and
attention or whatever. And so we as believers must have our guard up and we must put everything
through the test of Scripture, but also through the test of Holy Spirit, what are you saying about
this? And if we're not, we're going to be deceived and we're going to get off track.
But here's the good news today, is that everything is not about money, it's about Jesus. So even if
you have fallen prey to a scam or whatever, or you had hopes that something would work out and
it seems like it hasn't, guess what? Our joy doesn't come from what we have, it comes from Him,
comes from Christ. And I've had to wake up several days this month and just allow the Holy
Spirit to restructure what I'm putting my hope in. And there's so many temptations out there.
It's like, I've got five kids now, some of them are in junior high, I'm going to be going into
high school soon. So there's all, it's like I could go that route. I could be like, okay,
look how good my kids are doing in school, or whatever. But that is just an external joy,
right? Or, okay, look, we finally got this big project I was working on done, this book is
coming out, or whatever. But that's an external joy, right? We're not negative in the account
balance, right? But that's an external thing. And that's not the kind of joy that God
desires His people to have. He desires us to have a joy that's overflowing,
and that's increasing as the days go ahead, the days go on. And how does that work? Well,
I'm going to get into that. I'm going to get into that in a little bit. The Lord has that joy for
you that never leaves, and nothing in this world can shake it. No market can disrupt it,
no political leaders or world leaders can disrupt it, no foreign countries or bad actors or anything
from where you live can hurt that joy, the joy that the Lord has for us.
So if we get that, guess what? We're going to be strong no matter what. We're going to be okay
no matter what. And so this is what I heard on November 23rd. And I will say, the Lord gave me
a timeline here, but oftentimes when He gives me a timeline, He says, it's from the time I heard it,
or it's from a certain time, so I'll know the start date. I don't necessarily know the start
date on this one. I just know the timeframe, like how long it's going to last. If I had to
make a guess or an assumption, I would say maybe it's from when I heard the word, but I don't know
that for certain. So please take that into consideration. But this is what I heard on
November 23rd. And so this was only, this was like maybe two and a half weeks ago. I'm not even sure,
December 8th, November 23rd. Somebody else can do the math. I heard a market crippling effect,
then I heard a month and a half. Then I heard, that was the timeline I heard that I'm not sure
when that started. Maybe it started when I heard it. And I heard then sporadic yet steady upflows,
a dramatic shift, unplanned and unparalleled. And so then I heard this, a trilateral event.
I don't know what that means. A market show, a steady flow. And then I heard this is a dramatic
event. And then I heard Trump is going to move a lot of money, merge two things into one and
crush the competition. Then I heard he is going to go after China in a way that no one prior to
him has tried before. And then I heard the phrase, this is it. And I knew the Lord was speaking to me
about something very significant here. He said, this is it. And I was reminded of several different
prophetic words I had heard about Trump. In the past, the Lord asked me to publicly support him
before the election 2024 and all that for many different reasons. There were many different
words I got about Trump, many things God said he was going to do through him. But the Lord also,
along with that, many of y'all know this, also has given me words against idolizing people like
Trump. And he's also given me words, like last year, he gave me one word before the election
saying, Trump's going to do some things this next year that my people are not going to like.
He's not going to do everything right. And the Lord asked me specifically to politically
distance myself slightly from Trump just a few months ago. It was like, I'm
walking through my house and the Holy Spirit said, it's time to get off the Trump train. And I
immediately knew what he was talking about. He's not saying God's not going to use Trump for anything
in the future, or God's not doing anything through him, or that, you know what I mean.
But politically speaking, it's easy to fall into a camp and say, well, I'm behind this person 100%
no matter what. And that's not where we as Christians should be ever when it comes to
politics or when it comes to world leaders or any of that. We need to stay behind Christ, behind
Jesus. And if he changes gears, we got to shift, right? And so the daily check is, is my heart
aligned with you, Holy Spirit? And if not, if I've aligned it with something else, if I've fallen
into this camp over here, that camp over there, or this over here, then let me come back to the
truth and get behind you. And that's the problem we see with many of the influencers right now
who are vying for attention and voices are raising up and people are flocking in droves
in different directions. And one of the problems is for Christians specifically, the temptation is
to get behind a person and go with whatever they say, instead of staying in step with Christ and
saying, Holy Spirit, what do you say today? And focusing on him and what he's talking about,
what he's showing us in the Word and then in our life. And so that's what the Word, the Lord
meant by that. But I know the Lord's still using him, right? And so this is what the Lord said.
He reminded me of all these words that I had heard about Trump. He said, this is it. He said,
this is what I called him up into a position of leadership to do. I'm talking about what he's
about to do. He said, to corrupt the plans of a foreign entity before it grows too large and
conquers everything. And then he had specifically mentioned China, right? He said he's going to go
after China in a way that no one prior to him has tried before. He said, this is it. Then I heard
the Lord say this. He said, this is what I asked Trump to do. I asked him to do it. And whether
my people like it or not, I know what I'm doing. And then I heard, I know what is best for him.
I know what is right for your nation and those, quote, around you. And the meaning there is other
nations that are similar or allied, similar in a way to the states or allied in some way, right?
Or those that the states affect. And a lot of nations are affected by the United States, which
does not make the United States a better nation, right? The Word says God shows no favoritism,
right? But God puts people in certain positions in order to be a blessing to other people,
and he can raise people up and he can tear them down. He can raise nations up and he can tear
them down. And that's his prerogative. That's based on his plan, what God is doing.
But we also have a say as people, no matter where you live, when the people of God humble
themselves when they pray and they turn against their wicked ways, listen, God's going to bless
the land. He's going to show favor. So we have a say as well. But I don't think the Lord is
specifically saying that the Holy Spirit specifically asked Trump to do this. I don't
think there's what he's talking about there, but I think it's more of a calling thing and
putting all the puzzle pieces together and God's hand being behind what Trump is doing.
But I could be wrong about that, right? So there's that. That's my interpretation of it.
That's what I heard, though, November 23rd. This is what I heard last night, and I didn't know why
the Lord was speaking to me about this last night, but I was just spending time with the Lord. He
started talking about money, and I'm like, okay. And then I put two and two together when I prayed
about what I was supposed to share today and came across this word in my notes and knew it was time
to share this one. So December 7th, last night, this is what I heard. The Lord said, I absolutely
still give wealth today for the same reason I gave it then. He's talking about old covenant versus
new covenant, right? And he said, to be a blessing to the righteous and to grow the kingdom, the
family of heaven. And so this is something that I've struggled with personally throughout the
years. I grew up with a small amount of health and wealth, prosperity gospel teaching around me,
not directly, but indirectly from different places, which part of it is good. Part of it is
true because God does bless His people. Their favor is in Scripture. The word prosperity does
show up in the Bible. God prospers Abraham. But the unhealthy part, it's the same thing when it
comes to hyper grace. It's like the grace of God is so real, and it's the most beautiful gift in
the world, but when you push it, when you redefine it to mean something that Scripture doesn't mean
by it, then suddenly it becomes bad. It becomes evil, and it actually keeps people from getting
saved, right? And so hyper grace is a bad thing. It's the grace of man, not the grace of God.
So is health and wealth or prosperity gospel when it's not what the Bible actually says about
prosperity, and it's become about something else, and it's become one of the markers of the faith
instead of a potential benefit to walking with God. Jesus says in Matthew chapter 6, I believe
it's verse 33, He says, "...seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things shall
be added unto you." And so what is the prosperity gospel? Well, it is moving from seeking first His
kingdom and His righteousness to seeking these things, right? And then, oh yeah, God's in the
picture too, right? It's like we've gotten those things backwards. And it doesn't say, and God will
make you rich beyond your wildest imagination. No, He just says He will provide that your Father
knows what you need before you even ask. He's talking about your needs here on earth. He says
those things are absolutely going to be taken care of when you seek first His kingdom and His
righteousness, right? So is there room for a blessing beyond that? Yes, but that's up to God.
How do we know that? Well, I'm going to show you a scripture. I'm going to show you an example of
someone who was blessed tremendously by God, and somebody who was blessed at times and at other
times just had enough, and both were acting in God's will. And so are us checking off, did I
follow God's plan for my life today? Has nothing to do with how much money is in our bank account.
It has everything to do, although there are blessings that come with walking with the Lord,
and God has said, you know, all of our needs will be met according to His riches and glory in Christ
Jesus. But at the same time, that's not the test. The test is, did I grieve the Holy Spirit today,
or is this what He asked me to do? And the real test is the presence of God. You know, like in the
wilderness where the Israelites had left Egypt, what did they do? Where did they go? Well,
they were walking after the glory. There was a glory cloud and a fire, right? And they were
following after it. And so today, did I walk after the cloud? Did I walk after the fire? Did I follow
what the Spirit of God was actually leading me to do? Or did I walk out into the wilderness and hope
that the glory would follow me? We only have two options as Christians. There's not an in-between.
There's no third option. You know, it's either one or the other. Like, I'm hoping the glory
follows me, or I'm following the glory of God. I'm following His leading. And what did God do
in the wilderness? Well, He gave them manna. Did He give them the meat? No. He gave them manna from
heaven. Supernatural provision. But it wasn't what they wanted, right? But here's the thing. God
had already given them a promised land, but they had rejected it. You know, so there are seasons
where we suffer. Why? Because of our own disobedience or mistakes. And there are other
seasons where we suffer because of someone else's disobedience or mistakes. But the truth of the
matter is, we don't have to be in the wilderness season forever, but we do have to be there for a
God didn't say, here's two years of punishment. No, He said, go to the promised land,
and they walked around, and it took them two years before they were tested, and then they
responded in unbelief, right? And then the next 38 years was a punishment. You know, it was the delay
based on their disobedience. But we see in Hebrews chapter 3 and 4 that their disobedience
came from their unbelief. So what is God asking of us today? It's just to believe Him. Just say,
Holy Spirit, I choose to believe You today. Believe the Word. I believe You. I'm going to
have joy in my heart, and I'm going to be sustained by Your presence, by Your goodness, by Your glory.
I'm going to be sustained today no matter what. And I'm not sustained by what's in my hand.
I'm sustained by who's in my heart. I'm sustained by the glory of God in my life.
And the Holy Spirit is good enough. Jesus, You're good enough. And some of us, we need to just,
we need to walk back to the cross and look at it for a while and realize what we've already got.
And this is December 7th, what I heard. The Lord said, under the new covenant, He's talking about
absolutely still giving wealth today. He said, under the new covenant, the blessing looks
different. It is not because wealth or money has changed. It hasn't. And in relation to the curse,
it is the same. It can still bring both good and evil into a family. However, I heard the Lord say,
however, the nature of the covenant is different, and I expect different things from a believer
today than a believer then. Well, here's one example. Under the law of Moses, they were
commanded to give, and they had specific ordinances about how that took place. What does Paul say?
Don't give out of obligation. He literally tells us, do not give out of obligation,
but God loves a cheerful giver. Like, we should give out of generosity in our heart. So this is
a showing the difference between one covenant and another. And when Jesus talks about giving,
the exact same thing. The only times He talks about giving when it comes to the command
is He paints it in a negative light, and He's actually rebuking the Pharisees and their
practices. The two times He talks about the law and giving together. But then what does He say
other than that? Well, then He also teaches His disciples how to give, and He says,
give and it shall be given. You know, He's talking about generosity. He's talking about
a blessing based on generosity. And so it's a completely different model for giving under the
new covenant. But the Lord said this. He said, I expect a heart change. Talking about the new
covenant, He says, I expect a heart change and a surrender today that would have been unmatched
back then in a lot of ways. And then He says, yes, it's okay to have wealth, but there is always
a purpose to it. And so what is the Lord talking about? He's saying back then they were under the
law because they needed a tutor. Well, what does Paul say? He says, we no longer have a tutor. We
no longer have need of a tutor. Why? Because we're under Christ, because Jesus is with us,
right? And we're walking with Him and His love radically transforms our heart and continues to
radically transform us, and that's called sanctification. And so as His love is poured out,
the love of God flows out of our hearts, and that's called radical generosity. But it's also
called all the other things we couldn't do and couldn't get free from under the law. It's not
just when it comes to money, it's everything. Everything. The love of God is poured in our
hearts and out of our heart comes forgiveness that we couldn't have possibly given under the law.
They're actually, if you look at the difference between forgiveness under the old covenant and
the new covenant, Jesus paints a radically higher standard when it comes to forgiveness.
Why is that? Because He knew we would have the Holy Spirit, and the Holy Spirit, the word says,
pours the love of the Father into our hearts every day. He makes us different. He empowers us,
changes us, makes us able to do the things that Jesus would have done, not because we're better
than those under the old covenant. It has nothing to do with that, but because He's good and He's
with us, and because we actually are under a better covenant built on better promises.
So it's the covenant that makes it better. It's Jesus's death and resurrection that makes it
better. It's His sacrifice that makes us different. This is Genesis 13. It says,
so Abraham said to Lot, so Abraham's an example of God blessing somebody significantly in scripture.
So Abraham said to Lot, please let there be no strife between you and me, nor between my
herdsmen and your herdsmen, for we are relatives. Is the entire land not before you? Please separate
from me. If you choose left, then I will go to the right, or if you choose the right, then I will go
to the left. So what do we see Abraham doing? He's putting it into God's hands. There's actually kind
of a funny scriptural pun here. The word says, the lot is of the Lord, which is exactly what
Abraham is doing with his relative Lot. Well, that was the dumbest joke that I've told all week.
But, you know, what he's doing is he's saying, hey, I am not going to assure that I have the
best land. Why? Because I know who's taking care of me. That's what Abraham's saying. He's saying,
God's the one blessing me, so Lot, whichever way you go, I know I'm going to be blessed, so you go,
you pick first. And what did Lot do? Well, he picked, he compromised based on the opportunity
the world was offering, and he pitched his tent close to Sodom and Gomorrah, and Abraham was like,
that's good, because I don't want to go that way anyways. I'm going to go this way. And Abraham
went off into the wilderness, and we see that Lot winds up destitute at one point, and captive,
and Abraham literally has to go save him. And then eventually Lot has to leave everything,
leave the city, because it's being destroyed. So God continues to bless Abraham, but what is,
Abraham was trusting in God's favor, and he was not willing to compromise,
and he wasn't looking out for his own interests. He was just obeying God. This is after God called
him out of his father's land, and he's just being obedient still. He still had not seen the
fulfillment of God's major promise to him yet, and he was still being obedient. Look at this,
Romans 4 13 says, for the promise to Abraham or to his descendants that he would be heir of the
law, but through the righteousness of faith. And so we're called not to walk by the law. The word
says you are not under the law, but under grace. And so sin shall not be master over you. You know,
that's Romans chapter 6, if I'm not wrong about that. But it says, for the promise to Abraham
or to his descendants that he would be heir of the world was not through the law, but through
the righteousness of faith. And so Abraham, it says, believed God, and it was credited to him
as righteousness, and we are of the same faith as Abraham. But look at verse 16, for this reason,
it is by faith. Okay, so this is for us today. It is by faith, in order that it may be in
accordance with grace. So what is it based on? God's favor, God's love, God's grace, God's
willingness, God's goodness. It's not based on us. And it says, so that the promise will be
not only to those who are of the law, talking about the Jewish nation at the time, it says,
but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all. That's you and me,
that's us, right? We are of the faith of Abraham, and the promise is guaranteed to all of the
descendants of Abraham, all the spiritual descendants in that sense, right? So the
promises of God are guaranteed to us, and those promises are made available, it says,
in accordance with grace, so that means through what Jesus did for us on the cross.
So, you know, the Lord asked me to talk about how more than half the channels out there talk
about wealth transfer are lying, right? He asked me to say that, to mention that, and so
why are we as Christians still able to fall into the traps, you know, and the scams, and that kind
of stuff, is because there's a block in our heart, and I'm saying this because I love you, I'm not
trying to get onto anybody, I'm not trying to make anybody feel bad, you know, but there's a block in
our heart that says, I need this, and so I'm going to ignore the warning signs, you know, that they're
popping up, right? Maybe from a friend, maybe from a family member, maybe from the Holy Spirit,
absolutely from the Holy Spirit, or even from our own minds, where we go, well wait a minute,
maybe common sense says this, but sometimes we ignore the warning signs because we want something
to be true so bad that we're willing to listen to something that's not true in order to get what we
want, and the Lord has something better for us as believers, and it's called being like Abraham,
is saying, Lot, you pick first. God's going to take care of me, God's going to favor me,
I don't have to rush after something, I don't have to, you know, even Proverbs warns about those who
are hasty to try to gain wealth, you know, it's not a good outcome. There's a difference between
doing that and God blessing us as we're walking on the road and on the journey with Him. It's very
different. Now, I'm not saying to never have ambition or never have, you know, there is
godly ambition, but 99% of the time, there's a mixture. If we haven't gone through the process of
taking something and literally laying it down and handing it back to God and saying,
God, I don't want this. If we haven't gone through that process, God, I don't want this,
I want what you want, and I don't want this to be a distraction, I'm giving it back to you,
whether that's a business idea or, you know, whatever it may be, a ministry idea, it could be,
you know, or a new career, you know, or whatever it may be, you know, it's like if we haven't laid
it down and said, God, I don't want this, I don't want this to be a distraction, I'm giving it back
to you. Unless you give it to me, I'm not going to do it. Unless you say this is okay, I'm not
going to do it. If we haven't done that, 99% of the time, there's still selfish ambition there,
and I just hear the Lord saying, lay it down. You know, that's the best thing that we could
possibly do because it's worth it to walk this life in purity with the Lord and just be with
Jesus and just enjoy Him and say, okay, in a lot or in a little, I'm going to be, I'm just going
to have joy. Today is such a good day because of what you did for me on the cross, and nothing's
going to take that away. And I've already got everything I need because I have you, you know,
and man, the sunshine, I feel like the sunshine just comes out when we start to dwell on that.
We dwell on Jesus, and when He's done for us, it's like, okay, maybe I didn't need to be so
anxious or afraid or worried because the Bible says that all, you know, if He was willing to
give us His own Son, how much more will He not freely give us all things? You know,
so when we dwell on that, then we start to understand and be reminded of the love of
Christ and the love of the Father to such a great extent that we start to act more like Abraham,
and we say, you know what? God is in control. God is going to provide. I mean, look at what He's
done. Look at, like, why am I still striving? Why am I still, you know, running around in haste
when God is such a good Father? He knows what I need before I even ask. Why am I still so worried
about it, right? I heard the Lord say this. He said, and you know, it's kind of appropriate
heading into the Christmas season because many people celebrate the birth of Christ around
Christmas, and whether you do or not, this verse is still amazing, right? But the Lord referenced
the verse Luke 2 10, but this is what He said before. He said, the day Jesus was born, there
were many who didn't realize what had happened, who didn't understand what had been given. The
greatest gift of all time was given that day, and this is what Luke 2 10 says. It says, the angel
said to them, do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy, which will be
for all the people. For today in the city of David, there has been born for you a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord. That good news of great joy is still for us today. It's for all the people
of all time in history, because the word says, you know, Jesus lived a perfect life. He grew up,
He matured, He became a man, and then He died on a cross for our sins, and He rose again.
And it says He died once for all time. He became the sacrifice once for all time.
And Hebrews talks about how we're reminded of the prophetic word from the Father,
I will remember your sins no more. You know, so Jesus was the light that came into the world. He
was the gift. He was the way, the truth, and the life. He still is today. And that joy, that it
says, I bring you good news of great joy, which will be for all the people. Like, when we just
dwell on that news, and we look at Him, and we remember, we have great joy in our hearts no
matter what, no matter what we're walking through. And some people will say, well, you can, you can,
that only works to a certain extent. But man, I would beg to differ. Like, I would encourage you
go read The Hiding Place by Corrie ten Boom, and books like that, where somebody who had nothing,
literally nothing at all, still had a joy in their heart that was from God. And there's,
there's no other explanation other than everything was stripped away, but God was still good.
And there was a hope, and there was a joy, and there's a love, and there was a peace,
despite the most cruel and inhumane circumstances. You know, and if that's true for someone like
that, of course, you know, and, and read about the martyrs who have lost their life throughout
the ages, still singing songs to God as they were, as they were losing their life, you know,
and still giving thanks to God. And it's like, this, this kind of joy you can't steal, you can't
take away. You know, like, I read that old Dr. Seuss book, How the Grinch Stole Christmas,
you know, from like the 1950s or something to, two of my kids last night, so one of them rented
it from the library. And I was like, okay, so we read it. I don't think I've ever read it before.
But I was like, I was like, man, like, this is what the devil's trying to do to the hearts of
Christians, you know, all around the world is, is, is to take the joy away. But listen,
he can take everything that he wants. And what is the thing that still causes us to sing? Well,
it's Christ. It's the, it's looking at him and saying, I'm going to be with you for eternity,
and I'm with you now. Like, you're here with me now. Why not enjoy not just the good news?
You know, God didn't send good news. This is why Jesus is called the Word made flesh,
it's because the good news, or the word that God spoke, the word of truth, the word of life,
listen, he is here with us today. Like, and we get to meditate on the good news. Yes,
meditate on the word. Yes, but we get to spend time in his presence, because he is the Word made
flesh, and he's with us, you know, like, and when you believe in his word, he's right there. And
so you're never alone. Like, you're never on your own anymore. And that is good news that,
that just keeps giving. And this is what I heard the Lord say last night. He said,
I said, this is what my son does. He brings clarity to the issues that were once pulling
you off track. If it becomes about Jesus, nothing else stands in the way of intimacy with me. And
he said, until my people set aside the other motives and ambitions, the struggle to connect
will remain real. So what is the greatest need that we have as people, as human beings? Well,
it's connection. It's love. I mean, we're looking for the love of someone else,
the unconditional love, somebody and nearness. I want to be connected. I want somebody to know me,
right? I want to know that, you know, that's what Adam and Eve lost in the garden. They
had that with God. They lost it, right? We got it back when Jesus died for us,
for those who believe in him, right? But it's also what the world is selling. Well,
if you just have this, then you'll be cool. And look at the person, they've got all,
in the commercials, they've got all their friends around them, because they have this thing,
that makes them likable or whatever, you know? Or we tell ourselves, we sell ourselves that same
lie. Well, if I just had this much money, then I would have the connection I need. Or if I just
had this much, this many things accomplished, then people would see me, and I would have what I need,
right? But we have connection, we have acceptance, we have nearness, and it's in the Father's house,
and it's through the friendship that we have with the Holy Spirit. We have fellowship with him
because of what Jesus did. And out of that, and when we are connecting with him, walking in
intimacy with Christ, the Holy Spirit matures us and helps us to have good relationships with other
believers, and then also, on top of that, with the world as well, to connect in whatever way God
wants us to, right? And so, this is what I heard the Lord said, but the truth, according to the
word, is there is no struggle to come in. He's talking about coming into his presence. He's
saying, not anymore, not since the cross. The blood makes way for you to come in by grace and through faith.
Do not doubt anymore. This is what I heard the Lord say. He said, just enter the presence of
the Lord with thanksgiving on your lips and praise in your heart. And so, that is the lie the devil
is selling us, is you have to strive, and it's too hard. God has made it too difficult. That's
absolutely a lie. It's not difficult. I told you already at the start of this video,
I woke up today, and I was having a hard day, a hard time getting started, but man, the presence
is here now, and why would God come? Why would he visit me and not visit you? You know, like,
I am not any better, and I'm not any different. There's nothing special about me.
Not anything at all. I'm just a Christian saved by grace, and I don't deserve it, but he's here.
Like, that's because Jesus died for me. Like, that's it. Like, you know, why not celebrate that?
That's how much grace, that's how much love, that's how much acceptance God has. You know,
and that does not encourage us to go live how the flesh wants us to live, or whatever. That doesn't
encourage us to walk away from the Lord. It encourages us to stay there. It encourages us
to stay in his presence, to seek after him. It encourages us to continue accepting the grace
that he's given us every day, and just to sit with him. You know, like that, and that's what
the Lord wants to do. He wants to sit with you. He wants to sit with us. You know, this is what
the Lord said. He asked me to say that the temptation, you know, oftentimes is to look for
a wealth transfer, to miss the heavenly deposit that's already taken place, and the Lord said,
the true light that came into the world. Like, he's talking about Jesus coming as a baby.
Like, God sent his only begotten son because he so loved the world, and that's all that's needed
at the end of the day, and I heard the Lord say this. He said, if you understand what it is you
already have, you will be more than okay. You will live blessed beyond imagination. He's not talking
about it. He's not talking about a wealth blessing. He's not talking about a physical blessing.
Now, the Lord does provide for our needs, and yes, he does bless people,
but he's talking about Ephesians 1.3. It says,
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual
blessing in the heavenly places in Christ. And so, we already have everything we need as Christians,
and the only way the devil can get us to follow after a selfish ambition instead of a godly one
and the voice of the Holy Spirit is to get us to believe that we don't have everything we need,
and then we go looking for it somewhere other than Christ. But if we're just looking for him,
knowing that he's the author, he's the author and finisher of our faith. He wrote the plan
for our lives already. He's already called us with a great calling, and Paul encourages us to
walk in a manner worthy of the calling with which we've been called. But how do we do that? Well,
we just got to go back to him. We go back to the writer, the author of the plan,
and I had this very interesting experience. Me and my wife bought a house four years ago.
Because we were having more children. We had two more children since the movie,
so now we have five, and thank God that we have enough space for everybody.
But in order to get into a house that was large enough for our growing family,
we bought a house that was falling apart, right? Literally, in some senses. So, there's a lot of
stuff that needed to be done. We're still working on it, but there was a lot of issues, right?
And so, to address some of the issues, what I did was I went and I looked
at the blueprints of the house, and on the blueprints of the house, there was a name of a
person. Literally, the house was built in maybe the early 70s or something. I found them in one
of the storage rooms in the garage, and there was a name of a guy there, and his name was also on
some of the wood in the house. When I looked in the attic and stuff, I saw his name written on
the wood and stuff, and he was one of the original builders, one of the original people that had
worked on the house. And then I called around town, and I said, we've got some foundation
issues with the house. We need someone to fix something that's happening, and I was looking
for a good recommendation. Somebody recommended me that guy, the same guy, right? And I was like,
wait, what was his name? And I went and looked, and same name. And so, I went and I called this
guy, and he was older. He was older at that point, and he said, oh yeah, I remember working
on that house a long time ago. And he's like, here's what you need to do. And so, it was just
one of those things where you're like, wow, this is so cool how God can connect things like that
in real life. Absolutely. But the point is, where do you go when you need help? You go back to the
author of the blueprints. You go back to the Lord Himself, and that's where He's calling us to go
as Christians. There's so much fanfare happening online and around the world, and the online world
is becoming more and more central to the lives of not just the world, but even believers in a lot
of ways. We're using it a lot more for a lot of different things. Many people are. Not everybody,
but many people are. And it can be a good thing, but it can also be a form of distraction.
And at some point, we have to make a decision. When I need an answer to something,
what's my first instinct when I need an answer? Where do I go? At some point, we have to make
a decision. I always, if this is important, I always go to the Lord. I always go to the Lord.
Now, that's not to keep legalism or anything like that on. It's not saying you can't look
things up online, but who's my source, right? Who's my source? And who's going to have the
final say? Who's got the ultimate answer that I need? Well, it's God. It's the writer of my story.
And He knows why I'm in the chapter I'm in right now, right? And He knows what the end of the
situation is. The Lord already wrote that down. He already knows, right? So we've got to go back
to Him. AI can't answer that question. As good as your favorite influencer is, they can't answer
that question. Only God can, and He will, and He wants to. But this is what Ephesians 1 says. It
says, just as He chose us in Him, so watch this. This is the plan that He wrote for our lives.
Just as He chose us in Him, meaning in Christ, before the foundation of the world, that we would
be holy and blameless before Him. So some people would say, well, I don't know. I don't want to
know what God's plan is for my life because I haven't lived in the way I knew I ought to live,
right? Or because I felt distant from Him and I just don't know what He would have to say about
that. Well, guess what, my friend? It says that He chose that you, in Christ, you would be holy
and blameless before Him. That means He already made a way for you to be walking in the best path
and His plans for you are good. That's the reality of it. That's what the Word says.
It says, in love, He predestined us to adoption as sons and daughters through Jesus Christ to Himself.
So God has made a plan for you, and that plan is based on His love, and that plan is for you to be
walking as a son, as a daughter of the King, and He has given you access. He's adopted you and
brought you in to the death and resurrection of Jesus, right? It says, according to the good
pleasure of His will. That means He's got a good plan for your life. Like, that's what that means,
according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise of the glory of His grace with which
He favored us in the Beloved. So you've been favored. You do not need a minister to lay their
hands on you for you to receive the divine favor of God. They can't give you that. Only Jesus can
give you that, and it's been given through the cross. Favor is not transferable. It's received
by grace through faith, and what is the result? To the praise of the glory of His grace. So we are
humbled by His goodness, by His grace, and we say, Lord, everything is for you, through you, and to
you, and I give you the praise. I want to say thank you. I just want to look at you and worship you
and say, thank you, Jesus. Thank you for what you've done. Even if I don't have what my heart
wants in the fleshly sense today, I have what my soul really needs, and that's Jesus. I've been
adopted into the family of God. This is what I heard the Lord say. He said, you are favored in
the Beloved if you know me. So if you have a relationship with God through faith in Jesus
Christ, you're favored. I mean, that's what grace is. It's divine favor. It's unmerited. It's
unearned. Divine favor that's been gifted to you based on what Jesus did. You get what Jesus
deserved. Does that mean we always get what our flesh wants? No. Thank God, no. If you look at
the jackpot winners, and everybody's heard this stat before, I believe it's like 90-something
percent of them within a few years have lost everything. So it wasn't a blessing, and a lot
of them go bankrupt after that and lose their families and lose their friends. It's not a
blessing. It's a curse. God's plan for your life. That's a blessing. Whether it looks like the way
you want it to look or I want it to look or not, it's a blessing. The Lord, He blesses, and He
adds no sorrow to it, right? But He knows what we really need. Not what the world says we need.
And I'm so blessed. Let me tell you how blessed I am. There was a time in my life where I did not
know where I was going to go when I died. Now I know. I'm going to go be with my Savior.
There was a time in my life where I felt like I didn't have any friends,
and I didn't have any family that was close to me, that lived near me, or was close in the
emotional sense. And now I have so much family around me that I don't have a moment's peace,
which is good. It's a blessing, right? Like, I don't have a moment to think, but that's okay,
because there are kids everywhere, right? And I have godly mentors and friends around me who
God has placed in my life. And that's all I really need. Like, what else could you ask for?
I hear the Lord saying this for some people. He's giving people an assignment right now.
This is going to sound weird to some people. That's fine. I hear the Lord saying there are
some films that I want you to see, or some stories I want you to read, that I'm going
to strategically give you in this season, and there's a reason for it, because I want to remind
you of the simple act of gratitude again, what it looks like to be grateful for what you have.
And the Lord is, there's certain things the Lord, stories the Lord has used in my life before
to turn me completely upside down. And a lot of it is just, you know, so you'll be led by the Lord
if the Lord prompts you, just do what he tells you to do, right? But a lot of it is just a mirror,
right? Sometimes God will show us a mirror picture of, okay, this is where you're at,
right? And then when we see it, we go, oh, I didn't think I was doing that. I didn't think
I was living that way. But now that I see it, and I compare it to the Word,
now I see the difference, and I know what to do, right? And the Holy Spirit can direct us.
I heard the Lord say this. He said, you are favored in the beloved if you know me. Stop
looking for something you already have and just receive it. I'm talking about by grace through
faith. He said, look to me to fulfill your every need, not a YouTuber or a secret formula.
Then I heard my presence is what you need. My joy will sustain you. My love fills every heart
and brings true, lasting peace the world can never take away.
I'm going to finish with this, Romans 8, 34. It says, Christ Jesus is he who died, but rather
was raised, who was at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us. Who will separate us? Who
will separate us from the love of Christ? Will tribulation or trouble or persecution or famine
or nakedness or danger or sword? Just as it is written, for your sake, we are killed all day
long. We were regarded as sheep to be slaughtered. But in all these things, we overwhelmingly
conquer through him who loved us. So earlier, I showed you the picture of Abraham, how God was
blessing him. You know, no matter where he went, he had the blessing in favor of God.
And then now we have this picture of Paul under the new covenant, who, you know, he says, I have
learned to be content in all things. Whether I have a lot or little, he said, I can do all things
through Christ who strengthens me. And then the same person that says, who will separate us from
the love of Christ in Romans 8? Will tribulation or trouble or persecution or famine or nakedness
or danger or sword? So he talks about famine here. He's talking about extreme circumstances.
He's talking about, in some senses, not having enough, yet God always took care of him, right?
When it seems like there's not enough, God is still good. He's still in control. But what does
he say? In all these things, we overwhelmingly conquer through him who loved us. So if we have
the love of the Father, we're going to be okay. We have more than enough. So that's it. That's all
I've got to share with y'all today. I know that's a little long, but hopefully that's all right.
Somebody says, does this clickbait guy ever get to the point? Answer, no. So I get a lot of
comments like that. In response to that, the Holy Spirit has asked me to set up this channel this
way. He's asked me to do the thumbnails I do, the way I do them, the titles I do, the way I've done
them. He was the one that literally transitioned me over into doing things this way. And so
several years ago, I was praying about, what do I do here? What do I do there? And the Lord
started giving me certain ways to phrase titles, things like that. He was like, no, do it this way.
And so he was the one that got me into doing it that way. And as I prayed about it, the Lord
showed me like, no, this is what I want you to do because of the audience it's going to reach.
And the Lord showed me this. I know what audience you're supposed to be in front of.
And if you do things my way, he said, you're going to be in front of the right audience,
the one I've called you to. So I said, okay. So it came from that. And yeah, if you're looking for
what's in the thumbnail and the title, it's, this is not clickbait. It's actually
fairly close to the start of the video. So here's what typically happens. Usually the Lord gives me
a word of knowledge about a current event, about maybe a person or news or something that's
happening in the future. Oftentimes those things, oftentimes it has to do with future events.
And obviously we follow up on those in my archive on my website, TroyBlackVideos.com.
We follow up on every single one of those. Eventually they land on that archive. There's
over a hundred fulfilled prophecies there right now. I just posted a video last Friday showing
the one week prophecy and the 24 hour prophecy coming to pass. And I show, I dive into those
with a lot of detail and show the results. But so typically there'll be a word of knowledge.
And then after that, the Holy Spirit gives me a word of encouragement or teaching. And he gives
me a lot of scripture and he asked me to share that along with it as well. So the reason these
videos are formatted the way they are is because I'm trying to be obedient to the Holy Spirit.
So you can keep sending the negative comments. That's fine. Keep falsely accusing me. That's
fine. But my response is I'm being obedient to the Holy Spirit. And at least if nothing else,
I would, if that's you, I'd ask you, I would encourage you and ask you, please just go pray
about it and ask the Holy Spirit what he has to say about it. Because I honestly believe,
you know, when we hear it from the Lord, like you can hear it from somebody else and it doesn't
get through, but when we hear it from the Lord, it sticks. And so that would be my encouragement
is that you would be willing to say, Lord, if I'm looking at this wrong, would you,
would you show me? And I believe when we're willing to ask that question in humility,
the Lord responds. And I've had to do that with other influencers too, you know, that I've,
I've judged and I've said, well, there's no way that they're, you know, listening to you,
God, because look what they're doing or look how they're phrasing things or whatever,
you know, and then humbled myself and said, Lord, but I'm going to reserve judgment. I'm going to
let you be the judge. And what do you have to say about them? And there are some times where the
Lord has confirmed that and there's other times where he's, he's denied it. He said, no, like
this person is hearing from me or they, they are walking in the truth, but I'm using them to reach
a different audience or whatever it is. And so there've been times where the Lord has had to
correct that in me. So that would be my encouragement, but I do see a lot of the
positive comments. So I just want to be say thank you so much for that. I'm grateful.
Oh, I see a spirit reboot. My friend Chris is on here. So y'all go check out his channel at
spirit reboot on YouTube if you haven't. But yeah. So anyways yeah. He says the shameful thing is
YouTube runs on clickbait. Otherwise no one watches. I know that is the trouble, you know,
and that's what I faced for a long time on YouTube was like, I was like, Lord,
I I'll just, I'll quickly give you all the story and then I'll, I'll jump off,
but I talk about the story. I don't know if it's in this book, the mystery of the new Babylon.
I think it's in this book, but I'm, I'm pretty sure I share the story here or maybe it's in
stop worrying that book. I don't know. Whatever. It might be in this one. Anyways. It's been a
year. It's been a year now or almost a year since I finished writing the book, but yeah,
that is the problem with YouTube is a lot of it runs on clickbait and the flashy titles and the
sensational stuff, you know? And so there was a season in 2019 where my channel was just,
I would get less and less views every time. Right. And eventually it was like,
all right, Lord, I know you've asked me to do this, but I'm not reaching anybody anymore.
You know, like, and it's taken up a lot of my time. Is there somewhere else? Is there,
is this a sign that you'd rather me to be doing something else? Right. And that was what I asked
the Lord. I said, I will shut this down. I'll stop completely if you want me to do that.
Just let me know. And the Lord gave me this very weird word at the time, but he said, I want you
to learn to enjoy the sand. And I saw a picture of myself as like, almost like an Israelite walking
through the wilderness. And I looked and I could see down and I had bare feet and I was walking
through sand, like sandy desert. And the sand was in my toes, right? In between my toes. And I was
like, enjoy the sand. You know, I was thinking like, what does that mean? And I realized like,
okay, God wants me to be happy in the sense of having his joy in my heart, just to be grateful
for what he's given me and the work he's given me to do right here before anything changes.
And to, and you know, and that season was a season of me just seeking after the Lord
and just going full force into, okay, if I've spent time with the Lord today, if I have his
presence, if I'm hearing his voice, if I have his approval, I don't need anybody else's approval.
That's it, right? And it was about six months after that, the Lord started to give me, like,
he was already speaking to me about, you know, content and stuff and he would be showing me
things in the word and giving me ideas and stuff. But it was about six months after that, the Lord
randomly started giving me words of knowledge and said, I want you to start sharing prophetic
words online. And I was like, okay, you know, and that's when the channel started turning around.
And so it was like, it was the result of following God's plan in the wilderness that got me to that
point. I guess that's the point of the story. So yeah, unfortunately YouTube does run on clickbait,
clickbaity type of titles and stuff. But for that's, I talked to a lot of influencers behind
the scenes and in some larger channels, some smaller channels. And one of the things the Lord
has consistently asked me to do is to remind people like, hey, if God's giving you a mission
and God's giving you a purpose, like, and he's giving you a message, he's going to give you
the platform or whatever. It's like, whether that be large or small, he's going to show you
exactly where you're supposed to be speaking it. And it's not up to you to figure that out in all
the, in every sense, it's up to you to be obedient to what he's asked you to do, you know? And so,
but what I've come to learn is that God knows the plan, you know? God knows the steps. So if there
is something that he's asking you to do and he wants you to reach a larger audience or he wants
you to reach more people or he wants you to be more effective or be able to give to more people
or whatever it may be, like, God's the one that has to make that happen. And when we try to force
that to happen, we actually risk stepping out of this plan in order to jump ahead to something else,
another level that we want to be at when God knows we're not ready for that. And in his kingdom,
a lot of times, up is down. You know, Jesus said that he was the servant of all, and he said,
the greatest among you is the servant, is going to be the servant, right? And so that should be
our hearts. And one of the problems God has shown me about ministries is that they grow and they
grow and they grow, and sometimes people don't know when to step down, right? And we have to
be spirit-led in that way as well. What if God's plan for my business or my ministry this season
is that it would shrink? You know, like, what if it's like, am I okay with that? What if God
asked me to do that, right? Am I okay with that happening? I mean, and you've got to look at John
the Baptist, you know, where he says, let me decrease so he may increase, right? And his
disciples are going to follow after Jesus, you know, or whatever, or they're like, the crowds
are following after him, you know? And he's like, well, praise God, you know? And he's like, y'all
should go follow him too. You know, so it was like, it was this moment of him realizing, like,
all I have to do is the purpose God has called me to do. I don't have to live somebody else's
purpose, and I don't have to impress anybody. I don't have to perform. I don't have to achieve
something specific. I just have to be obedient every day. Like, I just want to be obedient
every day, and I'm choosing to do that. You know, like, that is where we as Christians, that's
the gift God gives us, is that he's the one that's going to open doors if they're meant to be open,
and if not, then he's keeping them closed for a good reason, because he loves us,
and because he's got a better purpose for us and a better plan than we would have for ourselves.
So I know that I just took a lot of time to say that, but I hope that's helpful and encouraging.
I love y'all so much. I hope y'all have a wonderful rest of your day and your week,
and I'll see you next time.
