Cycling from Chamonix to ski above the Arctic Circle | A Jean Rouaux adventure | Documentary
Freezing toes, burnt legs, frozen mustache, red nose.
This is the story of Jean Rouaux, who decided to leave Chamonix on his bike and make his way north.
With no support vehicle and only the basics strapped to his bike, he pedaled through changing landscapes, quiet roads, and short days, covering 4,300 km. When the road ended, he put on his skis and continued upward, climbing 8,000 meters of elevation on snow.
Just a personal journey, moved by curiosity, perseverance, and the desire to travel light and live simply.
A reminder that sometimes, strength is just taking the next step, or the next pedal stroke.
