Built on a wooded suburban lot, this compact home embraces simplicity, affordability, and warmth. The design organizes the program into three simple volumes — carport, public, and private spaces — each carefully positioned to capture light and forest views.

The exterior features dark cement lap siding that blends seamlessly with the woods, while the interior contrasts with warm pine floors, white walls, and rough-sawn pine ceilings.
With time, the native vegetation will reclaim the site, allowing the home to nearly vanish into the landscape.
