‘Reasonable’ to Use Risk-Based Approach for Hepatitis B Vaccine: Dr. Gator

NTD spoke to board-certified Pediatrician Dr. Joel Warsh—known as "Dr. Gator" by peers and online—for his take on the change in guidance surrounding the Hepatitis B vaccine for babies. He holds a master's degree in epidemiology and is the author of the book "Between a Shot and a Hard Place." He said we should remain open to making changes to the vaccine schedule based on new data and recommendations, as well as going back to review existing data to reconsider precaution and risk.
