Please come in.
I will show you some of my techniques.
I made hand coiling first,
and after it dried,
I put a strip on it.
And this is a brown strip.
I made from wild clay.
A little bit of sand inside.
After firing, this gets brown.
This is black clay.
Black slip.
It's a lot of iron and manganese inside.
Manganese in slip.
Sometimes I move.
Usually, when I do this work,
I prepare 30 or 50 of this plate.
And then I put on a slip.
I think this is life.
It's changing every time.
I try to find a new pattern.
I try to get better than before.
It's kind of a base.
I made it this morning.
This is a clay mixing machine.
This is very useful.
These are my children.
Usually, I mix clay.
About three kinds of different clay.
Sometimes I use clay from the land there.
Have you seen?
I'll show you.
Because of the typhoon, there's a lot of water here.
Sometimes I use this clay.
I use two electric kilns.
This is for biscuit.
And some work is this kind of work.
I like English slipware.
I made this style back from England, about 15 years ago.
This is a small one.
We call it itekoi gama.
Itekoi means go and back.
I made this about five years ago.
I fired it once a month.
I fired it about 60 times.
Now I can get almost 19%.
I don't know.
I can get a good one.
I made it myself.
I fired it once.
Last time was very difficult.
I think it's a similar size as an old English slipware.
I don't know.
It's maybe difficult to use for daily life.
A big table.
Yeah.
Big pieces are different from moving slipware.
So...
Maybe...
I have to make it big.
It's OK.
Maybe before the exhibition at the Golden Mark,
I can get good pieces.
I hope.
