Today, we are featuring a new brand called Bonsai from Marlin Bikes, an Indian brand operating since 2015.
I have three bikes with me. This is the MTB, this is the road bike or a roadie, and this is a hybrid bicycle.
Now don't get confused that this is electric. In cycling, the combination of MTB and roadie is called hybrid.
You will get the full explanation in the next video.
I keep bringing such reviews for you, which include tutorials, trips, even cycling vlogs.
So you can check out my channel. That is Fat Kebab.
You will get the specs, features, price of these bicycles, and some special features that you should know about this brand.
The first bike that you can see, this is the MTB, the Bonsai M900.
Built for off-road adventures, featuring durable frame, wide tyres, and suspension for rough terrains.
But this one is versatile enough for roads too.
The first feature in the bicycle that you can see is the drivetrain.
And this is a 2x9 system in which you get Shimano's Alluvio.
So your shifters, RD, FD, all these things you get from Alluvio.
The frame is 6061 Aluminium Alloy.
Also, the company told me that you can install dropper posts in this and you get wiring routing as well.
The fork comes with 100mm travel, that is Suntour XCM, and you get hydraulic lockout in this.
If you use a normal lockout suspension, then you will know that either it stays open or it closes.
But the advantage of hydraulic lockout is that if you open it half, it will be half hard.
If you open it fully, it will become fully soft.
So you can easily choose its level according to your terrain.
Like in air suspension.
The tyres are from Kenda, Slant 6, that comes only in 29er size.
Basically, they are cross-country tyres, so they are fast rolling.
And yes, a lot of people can use this on roads as well.
The brake setup is Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
And in this, you get 180 in the front and 160 in the rear.
So you will get powerful braking.
So in this, you get silicon grips.
It is very soft and the grip is also good.
If we talk about the colours, then in this MTB, you will get a matte black option and a white option.
The price is close to Rs 43,990.
What do you think about this MTB?
You can comment below and let me know according to the specs.
Now moving on to the next bike, we have the Hybrid Bicycle.
The Bonsai GRS 50.
It combines the comfort of an MTB with the speed of a road bike.
Perfect for city riding, commuting and fitness.
If we talk about the specifications, then this has a 620mm flat handlebar.
In this MTB, you also get a flat handlebar.
Also, you get a 9 degree back sweep.
If we talk about the brakes, then you also get Tektro Hydraulic Disc Brakes.
But in the front and rear, you get a 160mm rotor.
The frame in this is 6061 aluminium alloy, which makes the bike a little light.
And if we talk about the weight, then this is close to 12 kgs.
And if we talk about the drivetrain, then you also get a 2x9 LEVO system.
The RD at the back is also a LEVO.
But the FD at the front is a microchip.
You also get a Horotec crank along with MT500 BB.
If we talk about the tyres, then you get a Kenda K-West 32C tyre.
And the price is close to Rs 42,990.
That is close to Rs 43,000.
Usually, I am not a big fan of highway bicycles.
But as soon as I saw this bicycle, my cameraman was also saying the same thing.
My father was also saying the same thing.
That this bicycle looks really good.
Talking about the next bicycle.
Well, this is designed for speed and efficiency on paved roads.
Featuring a lightweight frame, drop handlebar and thin tyres.
This is the road bike from Bonsai, the RS 18.
I am not telling you about the deep specs, I am just giving you an overview.
Like what you get in the cassette, the teeth ratio, all the angles.
You will get all these things in the full video.
That is going to be on my channel.
That is FatBikeRevival.
That will come in the future.
Also, if you want to see the detailed specs, you can check out the links in the description below.
And also in the upcoming reel on my channel.
Talking about the frame, it has a 6061 aluminium alloy frame.
That too, with a taper head tube.
You usually get rim brakes and quick release in road bikes.
But in this, you get the option of a through axle.
And that too, both at front and also at the back.
Talking about the brakes, you get Tektro C10 mechanical disc brakes.
Usually, you get the option of rim brakes in such segments of bicycles.
Talking about the drivetrain, this is SORA R3000.
That too, with a 2x9 setup.
The handlebar is alloy.
You get a 90mm reach in this.
You get a 125mm drop in this.
And it is 420mm in width.
Talking about the tyres, it has Kenda tyres.
That is 28C.
And its weight is 10.1kg only.
And this is including the pedals.
So, if we try to lift it with one finger,
then yes, it gets lifted.
Talking about the price, this is only Rs. 64,990.
That is close to Rs. 65,000.
Now, if we talk about the special features,
the first is the crank sound.
Or you can also call it the hub sound.
And look at this.
It is so loud.
Usually, the louder it is, the more expensive your bicycle is.
Second, when I was doing the brake adjustment,
I was getting a click sound.
So, when we do the adjustment today,
it will be adjusted according to you.
When I unboxed these bicycles,
I liked their packaging a lot.
It was very premium.
And usually, I have never seen such a protected bicycle.
Also, there was minimum use of plastic.
And the last special feature,
that is the smooth welding.
You get smooth welding on all the models of each bicycle.
And as I told you,
this was the overview of these bicycles.
You will get the proper detailed video on my channel in the future.
Which will be about particular bicycles.
How did you like the bicycle?
You can comment and let me know.
You will get the rest of the product links in the description.
And thanks for watching this video, guys.
