COZY CHRISTMAS DECORATE WITH ME | RUSTIC NATURAL CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATING

Hello, my friends, it's Dana. Welcome back to Decorate with Dana. Today's video, we are doing another Christmas tree decorate with me. This Christmas tree is in my dining room. It is very neutral, very rustic, natural elements. I like to call it my woodland forest animal Christmas tree, and it is always one of my favorites. I do this tree every year. I love this tree as well, but there is just something about the calming, neutral colors of this forest animal tree that really have my heart. This is an eight foot flocked tree from King of Christmas. So as usual, I am starting doing the mundane task of fluffing each and every branch to make the tree as full as possible. ♪ Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree ♪ ♪ Such pleasure do you bring me ♪ ♪ Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree ♪ ♪ Such pleasure do you bring me ♪ ♪ For every year this Christmas tree ♪ ♪ Brings to us such joy and glee ♪ Next, I am taking one of my favorite ribbons that I purchased this year from Hobby Lobby. It is a very natural looking ribbon, and I love that you can just see the way the lights of the tree reflect through this ribbon. It kind of looks like snow covered branch type of material. It's really beautiful. And I'm just doing the traditional way of wrapping it around the Christmas tree. ♪ Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree ♪ ♪ You'll ever be unchanging ♪ ♪ A symbol of goodwill and love ♪ ♪ You'll ever be unchanging ♪ ♪ Each shining light, each silver bell ♪ ♪ No one I've expressed here so well ♪ ♪ Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree ♪ ♪ You'll ever be unchanging ♪ ♪ Oh, Christmas tree, oh, Christmas tree ♪ ♪ You'll ever be unchanging ♪ Next, I am adding various different picks, a lot of pine cones, frosted pine cones. I have these kind of little flocked picks from Hobby Lobby in the browns, the tans, the creams, some snowy, snow-covered branches, and I'm just sticking those throughout the tree. I like them to hang out a little bit. I don't want it to have this perfect shape. So you'll see me play with this, and I just add a bunch of these different type of picks all throughout the tree. ♪ Sing, choirs of angels, sing in exultation ♪ ♪ Sing, all ye citizens of heaven above ♪ ♪ Pray to God in the highest, come let us adore him ♪ Besides about four or five ornaments that I liked to add to my collection, I did not purchase anything new for this Christmas tree. And again, this is just a favorite to me. And what is so great about this tree is it could actually stay up all year if I wanted it to. It does not scream Christmas. It just screams winter to me. Next is time to add the ornaments. I have some of these flocked snowflakes. I have a lot of the flocked ornaments from Hobby Lobby, Walmart, all in those ivory, tans, and dark brown colors. And I just like to, I don't even use ornament hooks. I just like to stick them in throughout the tree. ♪ For Christmas, all the happy smiles and the wishes ♪ ♪ And I want it all from the lights to the mistletoe ♪ ♪ Tell me one thing, is there anything that you're missing? ♪ ♪ I will keep you warm as soon as you remove that snow ♪ ♪ Whatever we do, we will be all right ♪ ♪ These holiday wonders will open your mind ♪ ♪ All your wishes tonight come true ♪ ♪ The love I live, the dream I know ♪ ♪ This Christmas, I only wanna be close to you ♪ It's time to add the cute little forest animals. I have owls and deer, fox. I think my favorite is a little raccoon. I have bunnies, just all different types of forest animals and one random polar bear that happens to be on the tree every year. ♪ Come true, the dream I... ♪ ♪ For Christmas, it's a magical time full of kisses ♪ ♪ Take a walk outside and tickle a snowman's nose ♪ ♪ Move it, did you hear something from the chimney? ♪ ♪ I will keep you warm as soon as you remove that snow ♪ ♪ Oh, whatever we do, we will be all right ♪ ♪ These holiday wonders will open your mind ♪ ♪ May all your wishes tonight come true ♪ ♪ The love I live, the dream I knew ♪ ♪ This Christmas, I only wanna be close to you ♪ Now that the tree is fully decorated, I wanted to add a faux fur tree skirt in this beautiful brown color. I purchased this from At Home last year, and it's just the perfect addition to make this tree even more cozy. I will have anything I can have linked down below. Like I said, none of this is new, but if I can find some of these items, I will have them linked down in the description box. I had one pre-lit snowy branch tree from Balsam Hill that I got last year that I wanted to add next to the Christmas tree. I had this two-handled basket for a while, so I decided to slice just a little hole in the back to run the cord back behind the basket and under the tree skirt. And I just love the little touch that it adds next to the Christmas tree. Okay, my friends, this is how my neutral, snowy forest animal Christmas tree came out for 2025. I love it so much. Again, this is one of those trees that could stay up all winter if I wanted to. And I just love the calming feeling that this neutral tree gives me. I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
