Scarlett Johansson is revealing the truth behind her relationship with Colin Jost. On the December 1st episode of Today, the actress admits she didn't let her true feelings show in her first meetup with the SNL comedian. She says, I was a serial monogamist and I never got the sort of traditional like, hey would you like to have dinner sometime? So she was out of her element. She adds that when he asked her out on a date, the two went to an Italian restaurant in East Village. After, he said he was meeting friends and asked Scarlett if she wanted to join for a drink. But she says, I hadn't dated basically ever. So I was just like, I have to go now. I need to leave. In fact, the actress called it a night after only about 90 minutes, saying she panicked and bringing up the first date with her now husband. The 41 year old says, later he was like, I totally thought that was it. He were acting so weird. But describing his now nearly 10 year romance, Colin writes in his 2020 memoir, A Very Punchable Face, I've met someone I love and who I feel more comfortable with than I ever have before.
