The City of Quincy, Massachusetts — birthplace of the second U.S. president, John Adams, and the sixth, John Quincy Adams — holds its 72nd Christmas Parade on Nov. 30 despite steady rain. Marching bands, decorated cars, and costumed characters set off from Quincy Center and make their way along the parade route for about an hour before concluding at North Quincy High School.
