I do feel like Black Friday usually will make most people lose all logic. Like you'll literally just
buy so much stuff. Like you've ended up buying a foundation, concealer, blush and probably five
lipsticks that you're never going to use. Every brand is like screaming at you. Sale, Black Friday,
get this it's Black Friday. And it can be really confusing because you just kind of want to get
everything before. It's like everyone's in this one shop all together and everyone's just trying
to get everything they can. And then you don't end up with the stuff that you actually want.
I don't know about you but it's happened to me. Today I'm going to be breaking down the only
makeup that you're going to need this Black Friday. Now hopefully all of this stuff is going to be on
sale on Black Friday. Click on the links and it'll take you straight to it. I cannot guarantee they're
all going to be on sale during Black Friday but I have seen the previously majority of the time
they have been. So hopefully you're going to be in luck and they are kind of well-known products
that most people use. So you know you would have heard of them. It's my top two of everything. So
foundations, concealers, you name it. We're going to go through it all today. I'm basically helping
you to shop. I love this. This is so cool. Like I love shopping for myself. Who doesn't? Name me
one girl who doesn't love shopping for herself, right? It just makes you feel good and you know
what? It's kind of rewarding for all the hard work that you do. Why not? And when it comes to makeup,
that's on another level. Like that's like you're buying makeup for yourself and it's just kind of
you just can, as you're purchasing the makeup, you can feel the confidence levels rising in
yourself and you haven't even put the makeup on yet. So I get it. I'm here to shop with you. I'm
here to make it easier for you. I'm here to make sure that you buy all the right products this
Black Friday sale. If you're new here, my name's Nina. I'm a celebrity makeup artist and a beauty
educator and expert. I've worked on hundreds of faces, every skin colour you can think of, every age,
every skin type, you name it, I've done it and I'm here to make everything very easy to understand
and share all of my insights with you on this channel. As I said, we're going to go through the
top two in every category when it comes to makeup. Now if you do love real, raw, very educational and
informative, no BS beauty information, then please do hit the like button on this channel, hit the
subscribe button and the bell button so you don't miss my future videos. Those three things don't
cost you a thing but they actually mean the world to me and they really do help my channel out.
So thank you in advance. Let's go through foundations to begin with. These two are the best of both
worlds, honestly. I wanted to make sure that I picked foundations that you can use evening, glam,
for or you could even use it for during the day and I have got two amazing foundations for you.
One is pretty new and it is worth buying, trust me. First up is the Makeup by Mario Surreal Skin
Natural Finish Foundation. I tried this the other day and oh my god, it is so good. It's the one that
I reach for when I want radiant, healthy skin and it is a foundation that kind of blew my mind because
when I applied it I was like, wow, this just looks so good. You know that foundation that like makes
your skin look plump, bouncy, juicy, healthy, just actually genuinely makes your skin look so much
better. Not just a little bit better but so much better. There's only one other foundation that I
found really makes my skin look like that and it's the MAC Studio Radiance but this one actually
surpasses that. So you heard it here first, it's on record, it does actually win over the MAC Studio
Radiance. Still love the MAC Studio Radiance but this is like, wow, so good. Definitely gives you
that your skin but better finish but I feel like that even that statement is just not enough because
it really does like take it up a few notches. Like it really does make your skin look absolutely
beautiful and really juicy and healthy. Very bouncy, that's the best way to put it. You have
very bouncy skin with this. It's like it's instantly plumped your skin. It's medium coverage and it's
buildable so you can very easily get a nicer kind of more coverage if you really want it but honestly
it's such a beautiful foundation, blends really easily, lasts all day really well and I actually
much prefer it to the original, well the other foundation makeup by Mario has. I love that too
but this one actually is just like, I feel like it's just made for me, it's great. Then we have
the Dior Forever Matte Foundation. You know how much I love this. Do I even need to go into it? Do I
need to explain to you why this is so good? It is such an amazing foundation. I'm, this is like
me introducing a new best friend to you guys, right? So please take care of it because honestly
it's such a good foundation. This foundation will always have your back. You can always rely on it.
It will always make sure you look absolutely amazing even 6 to 12 hours later. It will never
mess up your skin, in fact it will actually make your skin better over time the more you wear it.
It doesn't aggravate your skin. It's amazing on sensitive skin, on any type of skin. If you have
dry skin then opt for the glow version. I personally really love the matte version but it isn't like a
matte, matte, matte version. It's like a soft matte so it's not drying on the skin, your skin is hydrated
through the day, it continuously is delivering floral extracts and ingredients in the foundation
to your skin which is actually really good for your skin. Like I have not had my skin ever feeling
weird. It's like it just adapts to your skin so well. So you are welcome. That is definitely a must
buy including the other foundation. So this is a really good one for I would say like evening or
glam or when you really want that like flawless finish and you don't need to touch your makeup up
at all through the day. Let's talk about concealers. You know I take this seriously because I don't
think I've ever done a look without concealer. Like you just cannot. I just love concealers so much.
So my first one is the Too Faced Born This Way Multi-Use Sculpting Concealer. I absolutely love
this concealer because it genuinely is such an elastic flexible formula. It kind of ticks all
the boxes for everyone and I think if Tarte Shape Tape wasn't around this would be my, it kind of is
my number one already but it's right up there on par with Tarte Shape Tape. So let me talk about
both of these because the two concealers I'm going to recommend are the Too Faced one and also
the Tarte Shape Tape concealer. Now I'm just going to talk about both of them in one go because they
kind of like, the only way I can describe one is by also describing the other. Tarte Shape Tape
is something that is going to give you amazing coverage. It's going to literally stay put all day
and if you set it right it's not going to crease. It is not going to look crepey or cakey if you
apply the right amount and you set it right so I always need to add that in because some people say
no that's so heavy that's so heavy but so much of it has to do with how much you apply and your
technique of application and how you set it after. Those three things are imperative in making sure
that you don't get any creases with your concealer. Any concealer that tells you it's crease proof
is an absolute lie because what they should be adding in that is it's crease proof if you apply
the right amount and in the right way with setting your concealer in the right way as well. So that's
the only way it's going to become crease proof. Okay let's talk about this. The Tarte Shape Tape
gives you everything that you need. Some people might find it heavy and honestly I feel like that
has to do with either or your skin type or the way that you apply it right. Now if you still can't
seem to get it right then I would always opt for the Too Faced because I feel like the Too Faced
formula is like the softer little sister of Tarte Shape Tape. So the Too Faced formula is a little
bit more liquid than the Tarte Shape Tape. It is not as self-setting as the Tarte Shape Tape. It is
full coverage like the Tarte Shape Tape but you can actually get a medium coverage and then build
on it so it doesn't give you full coverage immediately. You can build on it to get that
full coverage whereas with Tarte Shape Tape I feel like you get that full coverage immediately
and it blends a bit easier than Tarte Shape Tape right. So personally I love the Tarte Shape Tape.
I love that for my everyday wear but if my skin is ever feeling a little bit dry or a little bit
dehydrated then I will opt for the Too Faced and a lot of the time I actually mix the two together
because I love how they work hand in hand. So I'm not saying that you need both of them. You figure
out what works for you. If you've already tried Tarte Shape Tape and you feel like it's too much
for you, you are 100% gonna like the Too Faced one. If you feel that you haven't tried it, get it.
Get the Tarte Shape Tape and see what you think of it. But those are my two concealers. The Tarte
Shape Tape really is the OG of coverage and the Too Faced is like its little sister. That's what
I would say. That does just as good of a job. It's just a little bit softer. Now powders. Powder can
make or break your base and like I just spoke about, powder really is the deciding factor on
whether you're going to get creases through the day. And these two that I'm going to be talking
about are flawless and they are actually perfect for you to take your pick out of depending on
what you like and your skin type. The first one I'm going to talk about is the Huda Beauty Easy
Bake Setting Powder. I absolutely love this. It's my ride or die and it suits my skin type perfectly
and it suits the type of makeup I like to wear perfectly. Now it is not as fine milled as other
powders but I do find that it really is a powder that keeps everything in place and it works
amazing. I use the shade Banana Bread. It's great for brightening my kind of brown olive skin tone.
It's definitely something that's smoothing and it definitely locks my base in all day. I never
have to worry about it once I've pressed it on. Now I don't bake with it though so as much as it
is called Easy Bake and the whole kind of marketing behind this powder is about baking,
I personally don't like baking and I apply it with a powder puff. I press it on and I dust it off
right like immediately and that keeps my makeup set all day. If you end up getting shiny through
the day I think this is a great option for you. Now the next one is the Laura Mercier Translucent
Setting Powder in Ultra Blur. Now this is a great option for anyone who has either mature skin or
drier skin types because I feel like this is really good, especially also if you have textured skin,
I feel like this is really good at kind of blurring texture but it also kind of does keep
everything in place. It's a more, definitely actually much more fine milled than the Huda
Beauty one so if you prefer something a lot lighter then I'd go for the Laura Mercier but
it's very good at keeping everything locked in. It kind of just melts into the skin so it is a
pretty perfect setting powder. Let's talk about brows. Now brows can make or break your look.
It frames your face as you've probably heard many times before and brows is something that I feel
like is kind of my, or has been for since I started doing makeup, has been my signature kind
of feature I feel like other than the eyes. I feel like I've always, actually I don't know whether it
is my signature feature in terms of, I'm not talking about, well yeah I'm talking about my
face but I don't know if that's how everyone else perceives it but I know that I always get a lot
of compliments on my brows so I'm just going on that and I feel like I've always kind of been
very OCD with my brows on making sure that they are very symmetrical and kind of not too thin,
not too thick you know. Sometimes I've had those days where they look like I look back and I'm
like what was I thinking but you know it happens but otherwise I'm generally like I really do like
the brows to kind of re-frame the face and I do feel that it's kind of what allows you to figure
out what else is going to work well on the other features you know. Now the Benefit Precisely My
Brow Pencil is one of my favourite brow pencils. It's such a good, reliable pencil. It's kind of
not so thin that it breaks but also not so thick either. I just feel like it's the perfect
thickness of lead that works really well to be able to get you that soft feathered look but also
if you want the kind of stronger line like underneath you want to shape your brow underneath
like what I have today. The colours are really good as well. I feel like the transfer is really
good. It stays put all day. I never have to worry about it melting off even in the heat. It's the
quickest way to fill in especially sparse brows because I have sparse brows so I feel like whatever
I'm going to recommend today is perfect for sparse brows. Then we have the Anastasia Brow Pen. Now
this is another favourite of mine. I do really like the Benefit Mighty Fine Brow Pen. That's another
one that I do like but the reason I haven't picked that today is because I do feel like it runs out
quicker. That's my only annoying thing about that. So I feel like the Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Pen
is a really good brow pen that kind of like stays put and you can rely on and it does last pretty
well. Super thin. A really good brow pen. I just feel like it's something that you're going to love
and it doesn't look like you've inked in your brows. The next one is eyeshadows. Now if you're
only going to get two eyeshadow palettes this Black Friday because I know that's another thing that
everyone goes crazy on then make sure it is these two. The Makeup by Mario Master Mattes Original
Palette. You've got to have this. Come on. You've got to have this palette in your kit.
It's just the perfect basic palette that is going to kind of like cover all bases for you.
It's got all of the essential tones. The sculpting, contouring, the eye area or just soft definition
for a soft glam look or to be able to create like a soft eyeliner look with those eyeshadows. Like
it really is a good eyeshadow palette and I feel like whether you are a professional makeup artist
or not you should have this palette in your own personal kit. You can literally do any look from
natural to dramatic with this eyeshadow palette. The formula blends like a dream. It's buttery,
no fallout from the eye area when you're applying it. I would say you'd get some fallout from the
palette but not a lot. It's just natural I think with most eyeshadows but it really is a good
eyeshadow palette that blends really like effortlessly and all the colours really kind
complement one another. Now if you want something which is a little bit more mixed so you have
different finishes in there like shimmer etc then I would 100% recommend the Charlotte Tilbury
Beautifying Eye Trends Palette in Central Sunset. I think I've done pretty well today with these long
names. Normally I really struggle but yeah finally after all these years I'm kind of getting it. The
tones are really rich but so blendable. They work so well with one another and the shimmer shades
in there are to die for. They're so nice and I feel like you can kind of go for any colour. I've
picked Central Sunset because it's a warm palette and it goes well with my skin tone but obviously
pick which one that you feel because there are so many. I think they've probably got about six,
seven different palettes like different like colour options that you can go for. I just feel like you
get pro level artistry with Make Up By Mario and then with Charlotte Tilbury you get that soft
luxury glow with the palette. Mascaras. Two completely different mascaras, completely
different kind of looks but both are iconic in my opinion. First one is my Hourglass Unlocked
Mascara. This is my tubing mascara hero. It literally is the best tubing mascara ever. No
smudging, no flaking. It basically, and let me explain what tubing is, it's when it coats each
individual lash like almost like latex and then it just stays put. You're not going to get any
flaking, anything falling off. It stays put until you decide to take it off and when you do end up
taking it off you'll see that it's almost like elastic coming off your lashes so it doesn't
kind of run even when you do remove it. You won't see any kind of running of mascara. It literally
is the mascara that... these two mascaras actually always get me compliments. Like I have the other
one on right now which I'm going to talk about in a sec but the tubing mascara from Hourglass
is just... you can always rely on it. It's always going to give you an amazing lash. It's such a
good mascara. Trust me, you're going to love it. My next one is the Dior Over Volume Mascara. That's
what I've got on now. It's probably the quickest mascara to apply. Like literally one coat and
you're going to get the most amazing lashes. It stays put all day and for a mascara that I don't
believe is a tubing mascara, I'm not sure I might be wrong there, I don't believe it is a tubing
mascara but this does not flake or anything or run and it stays put and it stays lifted like this
all day. Bronzers. Now bronzers I feel like are the backbone of any makeup look. I just feel like
I've missed something out and I just feel like I've forgotten something if I don't put... which
I have obviously if I don't put it on then I have forgotten something but I mean like you know it
just doesn't complete... you're not complete without bronzer on. Now one of my favourites which I have
on right now is my Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Sun-Kissed Glow Cream Bronzer. I was trying
to make sure I got it there. Let me check because I've got it here. Yes, got it right. The shade that
I use is tan and it complements my skin tone really well. I absolutely love this this bronzer
because I feel like it blends so easily. I love the colour so I don't know what the other colour
is going to be like for lighter skin tones so you'll have to like check it out and I know there
is a darker one than this too for darker skin tones but honestly I feel like if this is so good
for my skin colour I'm sure the other ones are really great for other skin tones but I absolutely
love it. It blends so easily and even though it does say like it's a glow bronzer I feel like it's
the most subtle glow ever. It's not in your face, it's not overly glowy, it doesn't become more glowy
later on in the day the more you wear it. I just feel like it blends so nicely. It really genuinely
does give me that real sun-kissed look to my skin and by the way the glow that you get with this is
not a shimmer or anything. It's just genuinely just a lit from within kind of glow. Next is the Fenty
Beauty Sunstalker powder. Now my favourite shade is, I've got a couple, I think currently I'm using
yeah Private Island is my favourite. I usually have to go a little bit darker if I get if I'm
tanned but this one is a great one for me because I like it to be just a little bit warmer than my
skin tone. So this bronzer is amazing. It's probably the best powder bronzer you're ever
going to use. The shades that you have available, there's so many. You're going to find something
that complements your skin tone and I actually think that bronzers, that there should be more
variety with bronzers and I feel like Fenty really does tip the box there. So the powder
bronzer is absolutely amazing. It doesn't go muddy. It's perfect to apply. It blends easily.
It just is a good all-rounder and I just hope they never ever get rid of this product because it is
my favourite bronzer. Even though I've tried so many like powder bronzers, this is my favourite
powder bronzer. Let's talk about blush. Now blush is something that I never used to actually wear
back in the day and I would say only when I got into my 40s I started wearing blush more because
I realised I needed that extra bit of help when it came to like colour and just making myself
look alive and now I absolutely love blush. Let's see if I can remember the full name of this because
this is another long one. So the one that I want to recommend which I'm obsessed with at the moment
is the Patrick Tarr Major Headlines Double Take Creme and Powder Blush Duo. Let's check. Yeah!
I got it right! So this basically gives you cream and powder in one go. It's a duo.
You have the cream version which is absolutely amazing. I actually love using my Hourglass 15
brush with any cream blush and it just gives you the most stunning colour. I personally really love
the shade. She's vibrant. It's a really nice kind of like orangey colour that looks really healthy
on the skin and isn't so bright that it looks like it's not meant to be on your skin.
It's actually really good and the powder side of it is so well pigmented and it's completely matte
so you're going to get that. You've got the option. You've got cream with a little bit of a
kind of glow in there not shimmer and then you've got the matte powder version which you can also
overlay on top of the cream if you want to. Next we've got the Dior Forever Blush Soft Filter
Blush. I think I've got that right. So this is a kind of cream cream blush and it kind of dries
matte I would say like to a soft matte finish and I really love it. All the shades are absolutely
amazing to be honest. There's not just one shade. Currently I'm loving Peony which is what I
currently have on and it looks dull in the in the bottle but when you put it on you're like wow it
just looks it doesn't it looks brighter on your skin and it is such a beautiful colour. That blends
in perfectly gives you a really nice soft matte finish and I know you're going to love those
blushes. I also feel like the Dior blush is really good for mature skin so if you have mature skin
and you're dealing with fine lines and wrinkles then go for the Dior one because I think you're
going to love it. Let's talk about Glow. Glow is tricky especially if you're in your 40s because
you don't want it to look like you've kind of piled on product or for it to emphasize texture
or anything that you have. But these two that I'm recommending are absolutely amazing and I'll
explain why as I go through them. The first one is the Patrick Tarr Major Glow Cream and Powder
Highlight Duo. Yep got it right. It kind of gives you that red carpet radiance. Now like I said it's
a duo. My personal favourite is Daddy. Let me see if I've got yeah so with the cream you're going to
get that natural very kind of natural luminous not luminous but I'd say like kind of like glow
that because it's a cream it's not matte so you're going to get that amazing kind of like
lit from within kind of glow and then you have the powder which has this slight shimmer in there
which you can actually layer on top of the cream if you want or you can wear it on its own and it
does give a really stunning finish. It's very soft and refined so you're not going to find it's really
easy to accentuate fine lines or wrinkles with it. Now the next one is the Charlotte Tilbury
Hollywood Flawless Filter. Absolutely love this. I feel like everyone needs this. Now for my skin
tone I use two different ones. I use number five and number six. Number five is when I'm this skin
colour when I'm not so tanned. When I'm tanned I use number six because it just enhances my tan even
more and it looks stunning. But I love applying this in different ways. One is applying it underneath
my foundation like all over and then the other is actually mixing it in with a tinted moisturiser or
a skin tint because it leaves the most stunning finish. But this particular glow product is
probably my favourite liquid highlighter ever. It is stunning. That's all I have to say about it
because you honestly need to try it in order to understand how amazing it is. Lips. Let's talk
about the easiest lip combo ever. So easy and so stunning that I'm actually wearing it right now,
both of these products. So my first one is the Charlotte Tilbury Lip Cheat. Now I have been using
this since the day it came out and I've been obsessed with it. My personal shade is Iconic
Nude. I absolutely love it. I genuinely feel like this is a lip pencil that doesn't go anywhere. If
you are looking for a lip pencil that doesn't smudge, lines your lips and stays put all day
and you never ever have to retouch it through the day, then this is the right one for you. It will
not come off. It's so waxy. It just stays put and it blends really well as well. Next, my next product
is the Violet France Bisous Balm. Wow. Such a good product. I mean, I honestly feel like everyone
should own one of these. It is like a matte finish balm. It feels so bizarre when you put it on
because it's a balm. It's hydrating. It doesn't dry out on your lips, but it's a matte finish.
It looks stunning. Look at it. I've got both of these ones on now. It's basically a tinted
balm, which is matte. I still can't get over it. It's such a good product. The whole
marketing behind it, obviously, is that French girl look. Obviously, I glam it up a little bit
more. This definitely isn't French girl, but I love it. Setting sprays. Now, I just want to add
here that I don't think these actually set your makeup, so I don't use them for setting, but they
can lend a helping hand in kind of locking things in, but more so, I would say, more than helping to
set or lock things in, I feel like they help to give you a different kind of finish to your base,
which is actually, I would say, more important because I'd rather stick to using my powder for
setting and locking and then focus on the spray to help with the finish that I want. My first one is
the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray. This is absolutely amazing. I have a couple
of these lying around because they're so good. Now, I use this for dampening my sponge. Game
changer. Don't use water. Use the spray from now on. And I also use it to apply over my setting
powder. So, once I've set my makeup, I apply it on top, just not to set, to melt the powder into my
skin so that I'm not left with too much of a powdery finish. Amazing little hack there for
you. The next one is the Laura Mercier Ultra Blur Setting Spray. I don't think this actually sets
your makeup again, but I do think, having used it, that it does give you a very glowy, glass-like
skin look. Because I used it the other day and I was like, wow, like, I would say more than blurring.
It does blur your skin like any texture that you have, but it definitely gives you that glass skin
look. So, if that's what you're after, then go for that. So, those are my top two of everything for
Black Friday. It's been really fun shopping with you and helping you with this. And honestly, if
you stick with one of these out of each category, you're going to save yourself a ton of money and
you're not going to regret these purchases. You can check every single product out that I've
mentioned in my description with the link, so you can click on it and it'll take you straight to it.
