A 2-meter-tall Lady Liberty Hong Kong is on display at a children’s clothing store inside D·PARK Shopping Mall, formerly known as Discovery Park, at Tsuen Wan, Hong Kong.

There are also Lennon walls inside the shop.

The store also offers children’s books that introduce democracy and freedom.

The design concept of Lady Liberty Hong Kong is inspired by the Hong Kong protesters during the anti-extradition movement.

The protestors normally wear a helmet, eye mask, and a gas mask dubbed as “pig mouth.” The umbrella in the right hand is a protective device against tear gas.

Lady Liberty’s left-hand carries the banner “Liberate Hong Kong, revolution of our times.”

The statue symbolizes Hong Konger’s courage to speak up for the future of Hong Kong in the face of the rain of gunfire and tear gas.

The statue represents Hong Konger’s longing for democracy and freedom.

It also represents those great souls who have lost their lives during the protests and the Hong Kong spirit of not succumbing to pressure and fear.
