Celebrating 10 years of partnership with Lewis Hamilton

Welcome aboard. We are on a very special yacht, joined by an absolute British icon, Sir Lewis Hamilton. How you doing? Not your average interview location. Yeah, this is really great. I've run over pretty much every bridge. I've flown over it, but I've not actually really been on the water, so this is cool. I like this. You're getting something new. You're getting a new experience. It's just got so much to give London. I've fallen heavily in love with the place, and it's home. We can see the London Eye over there. Have you ever actually been on the London Eye? I would never go on a London Eye. Why? It goes so slow. Not only are you a racing icon, but you are a British icon. Silverstone's coming up this weekend. How are you feeling? What are your thoughts? It's the race you want to win the most. It's the race you want to do the best. It's a real family event. I don't get to see that in a lot of places. One of the brands that you've been able to do some pretty cool stuff with is, of course, IWC. I've got a list here of some of the things that you've been able to do, playing golf and basketball in Miami, and even going head-to-head with 1,000 drones in Las Vegas. My favourite thing I've done with IWC, I got to go in pretty much a fighter jet. He gave me the controls as we were going up, and I did this whole flight, loop-de-loop. It was amazing. It was much like driving a car, to be honest. A fighter jet was just the same as driving a car. Honestly, I can drive pretty much anything. Do you reckon you could captain the boat, and you'd be like, yeah, absolutely. What draws you to the world of watchmaking? I know you love your watches. We're chasing the clock. We're chasing the thousands of a second, and it's all about engineering and design. Ultimately, as a driver, you have to become an engineer. You're wearing the performance chronograph there, a special AMG. This is a team watch. We launched this in Vegas last year, but it's just nice and light, and it's very sporty. It's got some of the colours from the team, so it's our team's favourite watch now. Well, Lewis, I can see Bratislava coming up now. It's been so much fun, and I'm glad we could do something that you haven't done before. Are you going to do it again, or no? Yeah, definitely. Yeah. Thumbs up. Yeah, for sure. We'll bring it out.
