Hi guys, welcome or welcome back to my channel.
In this video, we're going to make capybara wearing a headphone.
We're going to start with a magic ring.
So we're going to wrap the yarn around the fingers.
When you flip it, there will be two lines.
Hook under the first one and hook into the second one.
Then we're going to finish it with a chain.
And there is a magic ring.
Next, we're going to make single crochet.
So we're going to insert the hook into the ring.
Yarn over and pull the yarn out.
Yarn over again and pull the yarn through the loops.
That is a single crochet.
Since we need 6 single crochet for the first round, we're going to make 5 more.
You can pull the yarn to close the ring.
And we're going to continue into the second round.
And on the second round, we're going to make increase.
For increase, we have to make 2 single crochet in 1 stitch.
So we're going to start with a single crochet.
Then we're going to mark that first stitch.
Then still on the same stitch, we're going to make another single crochet.
And there is an increase.
And we're going to make increase for the whole round.
Continue into round 3.
We're going to start with a single crochet.
Then we're going to make an increase next.
And there is the pattern for this round.
A single crochet and an increase.
We're going to repeat this pattern until we reach the end of the round.
Moving on into round 4.
In this round, we're going to make a single crochet for each stitch.
For round 5, we're going to start with 2 single crochet.
Then we're going to continue with increase on the next stitch.
And that's the pattern for this round.
We're going to repeat this pattern until we reach the end of the round.
Moving on into round 6.
In this round, we're going to make a single crochet for each stitch.
We're going to start round 7 with 3 single crochet.
Then we're going to make increase on the next stitch.
And that's the pattern for this round.
3 single crochet and an increase.
We're going to continue with this pattern until the end of the round.
Continue into the next round.
For round 8 and round 9, we're going to fill each stitch with a single crochet.
So this is how it's gonna look like so far.
And we're going to continue into the next round.
And we're going to start with 9 single crochet.
And before finishing the stitch,
we're going to change the yarn into a dark brown color.
And we're going to insert it into the loop.
Then we're going to secure the yarn by making double knots.
And with this color, we're going to make a bubble stitch.
And to make a bubble stitch, we're going to wrap the yarn around the hook.
Insert it into the stitch.
Yarn over and pull the yarn out.
Yarn over again and pull it through the first and the second loop.
So now there are 2 loops on the hook.
We're going to repeat the same step.
Wrap the yarn around the hook.
Insert it into the stitch.
Yarn over and pull the yarn out.
Yarn over again and pull it through the first and the second loops.
So now there are 3 loops on the hook.
We're going to repeat the same step until we have 5 loops on the hook.
That is 4 and 5.
So we're going to change back the yarn.
We're going to yarn over and pull it through all the loops.
And that is a bubble stitch.
We're going to continue with 11 single crochet.
And before finishing the 11th stitch, we're going to change the yarn again.
So we are using a dark brown yarn.
Then we're going to make another bubble stitch.
Change back into the light brown yarn.
And we're going to finish the round with 8 single crochet.
Moving on into the next round.
For round 11 and round 12, we're going to make a single crochet for each stitch.
For round 13, we're going to start with 13 single crochet.
Before finishing the stitch, we're going to change the yarn again.
So now we're using the dark brown color.
And we're going to make a bubble stitch on the next stitch.
Change into the light brown.
And we're going to make 4 single crochet.
We're going to change the yarn again.
And we're going to make another bubble stitch.
Change into the light brown.
And we're going to finish this round with 11 single crochet.
Since we no longer need the dark brown yarn, we can cut it off.
And secure the end.
And we're going to continue into round 14.
And for this round, we're going to start with 3 single crochet.
And we're going to make a decrease next.
And to make a decrease, we're going to insert the hook into the front loop of the stitch.
And also the front loop of the next stitch.
Yarn over and pull the yarn up.
Yarn over again and pull the yarn through the loops.
There is a decrease.
And the pattern for this round is 3 single crochet and a decrease.
We're going to repeat that pattern until we reach the end of the round.
For round 15, we're going to start with 2 single crochet.
Then we're going to make a decrease next.
And there is the pattern for this round.
2 single crochet and a decrease.
We're going to continue with this pattern until the end of the round.
Next, you can insert the stuffing.
And for the last round, we're going to start with a single crochet.
Then we're going to make a decrease next.
And there is the pattern for this round.
We're going to repeat this pattern until we reach the end of the round.
Once you're done, you can cut the yarn.
And to close the hole that is on the bottom, we're going to grab our hook.
And we're going to insert it into the front loop of the stitch.
We're going to pull the yarn through the loop.
And we're going to do the same thing for the rest of the stitches.
Then you can pull the yarn to close the hole.
That is it.
You can weave in the end.
And using a thin black yarn, we're going to make the nose and also the eyes.
And for the ears, we're going to start with a slip knot.
So wrap the yarn around the fingers.
When you flip it, there will be two lines.
Hook under the first one and hook into the second one.
And you're going to hold the tip of the yarn.
And you can just pull on both sides.
And there is a slip knot.
Then we're going to insert the slip knot on between round 4 and round 5.
Then we're going to make three chains.
We're going to skip the first and the second chain.
And on the third chain, we're going to make a half double crochet.
So wrap the yarn around the hook.
Insert it into the chain.
Yarn over and pull the yarn out.
Yarn over again and pull the yarn through all the loops.
Then you can make another slip stitch on between round 3 and round 4.
And there is the ear.
You can cut the yarn and weave in the end.
We're going to use the same pattern for the other ears.
But this time we're going to start from between round 3 and round 4.
And end with a slip stitch on between round 4 and round 5.
That is it for the ear.
And for the headphones, we're going to start with a magic ring.
Then we're going to make five single crochet.
Then on the second round, we're going to make an increase for each stitch.
Then for round 3, we're going to use the back loop only.
And for this round, we're going to make a single crochet for each stitch.
So this is what it's going to look like.
You can cut the yarn, but we're going to leave a long tail for sewing.
We're going to make one more, but this time don't cut the yarn.
And we are going to make chains for the string of the headphones.
So we kinda have to guess how many chains do we need until we reach the other side of the head.
Mine took 13 chains, but I'm sure it's different for each person.
And then after it reaches the length that you want it,
we're going to grab the other headphone that we've made before.
And we are going to make a slip stitch there.
And we are going to make the slip stitch on the last round of the headphones,
which is on round 3.
To be honest, you can place the headphones on the ears,
but I'm just going to place it below the ears.
I think it's cuter and funnier that way.
And next, you can cut the yarn and weave in the end.
For sewing, you can use those little pins to kinda set up and adjust the placement of the headphones.
I feel like it also helps with the sewing process.
When I was sewing the headphones, I didn't have those little pins with me,
so I just used those big needles.
But if you have any access to those little pins, then please use them.
I think they are very useful.
And then once you're done with one side of the headphone,
you can use the same string to sew the other one.
Then the last step is to secure the yarn and weave in the end.
And that's it, guys.
Thank you so much for watching.
Don't forget to like and subscribe.
And I'll see you on the next one.
Bye!
