Well it seems that flying vehicles will be made for the public. It just won't happen officially until 2028. For now, they are being tested. In fact, they are put into a race. The only thing we stress is that if a person wants to buy one in the future, he or she must be tested thoroughly.
Here's the article from Slashgear that we used.
https://www.slashgear.com/2001791/jetson-one-personal-aircraft-flew-pylon-course-worlds-first-evtol-race/
The recording has started. Well now, always remember Super Dave Bistula, the tall white
gothic vampire alien coming to you from a La Fleur restaurant which is at the corner of Saint Jacques
and the service road to Highway 20. What's nearby? I'm not sure. There is a La Val Provence nearby
and plus a falafel store on Saint Jacques. Here in the area of Ville Saint-Pierre,
Super Dave Bistula of La Val Quebec Canada. Ville Saint-Pierre is in Montreal.
So, it seems to me that apparently the vehicle for the Jetsons are already here. If you've seen
the Jetsons back in the 70s and 80s, you would understand. In fact, in our cover photo,
I'm going to try to see if I can get, we're going to try to see if we can get the Jetsons
theme on Snapchat so we can put it in for a cover photo. Anyways, so, seems interesting.
Let's see how it works. They already have their first customer. Anyways, my host,
my digital host David is going to read from Slashgears and we'll give his opinion here and
there. Yep, me, George Jetson, his wife, oh ----, what was her name, and his boy Elroy and
daughter Judy. Anyways, that's about it. So, I don't know, I guess we'll just get into it.
So, menu, camera, hi there, all right, Slashgear, come on, all right. The world's first Jetson
personal aerial vehicle race, vehicle race, certainly looked like something from a sci-fi
and you're going to see as soon as, let me just put on my reading glasses, from Bob Sharp,
October 25th, 2025, 7 45 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. Yep, there we go, yep, you see. Okay,
the promise of flying machines has been around for decades. From flying cars to jetpacks,
the future always seemed to promise a traffic jam, free ride to work that left the roads far
below. Yeah, but it didn't happen yet and it's 2025 and only now they're going to do it.
The truth of the matter is, is that personal flying machines, excluding private planes,
of course, are not as simple as strapping a pack of volatile rocket fuel to your backpack
to your back and soaring off to work like something from, well, the Jetsons.
That is true, although we've seen Boba Fett do this in Star Wars, but still, that's
something imaginary. Could it actually work? I don't know. Now a pioneer company,
a pioneer company is the latest to claim that it can change the way we travel.
Jetsons, Jetson 1 is a personal aircraft, or more correctly, an electric vertical
takeoff and landing vehicle, Evo Votol. Yeah, but it would catch on fire, that's just it.
It's powered by eight electrical motors and built from aluminum and carbon fiber.
Is it safe though? You know, electrical cars have been catching fire. Its prowess was
demonstrated by 2025's UpSummit. This is an air show with a difference. UpSummit is an
invitation only event that brings together 300 of the world's leading transport innovators.
This year's event took place in Bentonville Municipal Airport, Arkansas, and also featured
a community day when the summit opened its doors to the general public.
Among the star attractions of the opening day show was the world's first Jetson 1 race,
as we saw over there. The four aircraft pylon race was designed to demonstrate the craft's
technological maturity. Among the pilots taking part in the race was Thomas Patton,
Jetson's chief technical officer, and a co-founder of the company. While the personal
aerial vehicle race certainly looked like a scene from the sci-fi film, Jetson is betting that the
Jetson 1 becomes more than just an air show curiosity and steps up to become a viable
future transport option. Yeah, but you gotta be careful with some drivers. On the ground,
you got some ******* idiots cutting you off. Imagine how it is, how it's gonna be in the air.
They have to probably be more strict. A Jetson 1, a personal aircraft from the pages of a sci-fi
novel. Now there we go, they're all flying around. Jetson describes its aircraft as a Formula 1
racing car from the sky. I think we may have to slow it down. While seeing the 1 offers Formula
1 performance requires a generous stretching of the imagination, it does pack some impressive
stats nonetheless. You gotta be careful if it's even anything close to Formula 1.
You notice that there's some idiot drivers out there, especially here in Montreal,
and in Lebanon. The Jetson weighs a mere 121 pounds without batteries, and 253 pounds including
bravo, something very lightweight. The batteries power eight motors and propellers.
Now with a pilot of an appropriate weight on board, 210 pounds maximum. That means I can't
be too ******* fat. The aircraft has a software-limited top speed of 63 miles per hour.
And that would be close to 120 or 130 kilometers an hour.
It's okay. It shouldn't be any more than that. You have some idiot drivers out there.
One area of the aircraft does borrow heavily from race car design as its safety shell.
While it was designed to protect the pilot should the worst happen.
Yeah, if he does something stupid.
Anyways, other safety features include a ballistic parachute system,
a ballistic parachute system, an auto landing system, a hands-free hover system,
hands-free hover system, and the ability to keep flying with the loss of one motor.
Oh boy. For the brave-hearted among you, the Jetson's one has a maximum ceiling of
1,500 feet, approximately. Surprisingly, despite these performance stats,
there is no need for a pilot's license to take to the air in one of these.
You sure about this? Are you sure about this? Because you're going to have some very stupid
people out there. Montreal is thinking about putting licenses for people who ride bikes.
Because I've seen bike riders do stupid things.
Jetson's has designed the entire flight to be controlled.
The Jetson's has designed, Jetson has designed the entire flight to be controlled one-handed
using a four-axle joystick along with a unique flight computer. The company says
intuitive flight control system means the fundamentals of the control
can be mastered under five minutes. You sure about this?
The advertised flight time for the aircraft is around 20 minutes.
The aircraft is around 20 minutes. However, before you rush out and buy one, the price tag
is $128,000. Keep it that high because there's some people who are just ******* stupid.
The earliest shipping date is 2028. Okay, so I guess in 2028 we're going to see this.
Jetson One already has its first customer. Okay, there's the guy. The first Jetson One
customer is Palmer Luckey, the co-founder of Oculus and Anduril, which manufactured the Fury
Autonomous Air Vehicle. So he's someone who understands the industry. Palmer Luckey
recently received his EV toll in early September 2025, two years later than its initial schedule
of 2023. Despite the company's claims that flying one of these could be learned in under five
minutes, you sure about this? A more generous 50 minutes were allocated for Palmer's flight
training, after which the motors were started and Luckey completed a circuit of grassy field
before landing. In culmination of the training and test flight, he was awarded a Jetson
wingpin. Okay, well, some sort of medal. Witnessing the entire day was Thomas Patton
and Jetson CEO Stefan Deng. With the first Jetson One race taking place in the same month,
it's certainly been a busy time for the company. I'd say so. Although it has been an American base
at Palo Alto, the company was originally formed in Poland in 2017 by Patton and Peter
Tarnstrom. No, really, that was Polish, before relocating to Italy.
With the delivery of the first system, Jetson stated that it's the beginning of the Jetson's
global rollout, and a bold leap forward in personal aviation. Yeah, but you still gotta
make sure that a stupid person doesn't do stupid things up in the air, and don't drive drunk,
either, or don't fly drunk. The company has reported that the over 500 orders have been
placed for the futuristic aircraft, and with a high-profile tech name like Palmer Luckey
as an inaugural customer, Jetson's future looks promising. With a healthy order book and high
profile customers, the age of personal flight might be edging closer to reality. Yeah, but who's
gonna afford it? Um, okay, this is another article. I don't care about celebrities. That's it. So,
let's close this, and we'll close that. Come on. Oops. We close that. Open this up. There you have
it in a nutshell. George Jetson, his wife Judy. I think his wife was named Judy. I don't remember
now. Or is it his daughter? I have to check it out. Anyways, that doesn't matter. What matters
is, is that, okay, this is fascinating. Very fascinating. We're gonna see the future, uh,
coming up. Finally, flying cars that they promised. Sort of. Which is, uh, but, like I said,
you gotta watch out for stupid people that buy this ----. Because, uh, I've seen stupid people
buy Audis and make huge accidents, and killing people at the same time. So, you gotta watch out
with this ----. See who drives it. See who's competent. I mean, I'm a little too scared now.
Maybe if I was younger, I would have tried it. Or maybe I'll try it. I don't know.
I just need somebody with me. Maybe in the backseat to tell me what to do.
But it is fascinating. Maybe I'll see somebody landed, uh, in my backyard. Who knows?
Anyways, Uber Dave. Conclude. Closing off. Is the future here? For mankind? For the earthlings?
We're not sure. But it is interesting. I guess, but maybe they had this before,
and they were just hiding it from people. Maybe. Maybe. Just maybe. Because, as David said,
there are some very stupid drivers out there. Very stupid people. They pretend to know how to drive.
They drive recklessly. They drive fast. And they make accidents. Now, imagine this up in the air.
They have to be a little bit strict. Uh, licenses have to be a little bit strict.
That's about it. Anyways, whoops. At this point, I'll bid you adieu, au revoir, adios,
hasta maรฑana, hasta luego, arrivederci, shalom, salamaliko, sayonara,
dozvidanya, au revoir, yia sas, para evt says, goodbye, also, merci beaucoup,
muchos gracias, molti, mucho, grazie, tu da raba, shukriya, shukran, sheshe, spasiba,
dankashan, efchai sopoli, shachon ragalim, and if maybe somebody I know buys one,
and he's a, he or she is a good driver of this Jetson mobile, I'll ask this person if he could,
uh, if he could fly into my backyard, and I have a Laval, if he's, if he or she is allowed.
If not, it's okay, I'll go to the airport and get this person,
or somewhere around, maybe in an open field, just saying. Anyways, now the only thing to say is,
George Jetson. Thank you very much.
