Slow Christmas Decorating in Portugal | Cosy Living Room Makeover, Homemaking & Simple Living

This week, I’m gently easing into the festive Christmas season here in my home in the Portuguese countryside. I’ve started adding simple decoration touches around the house while continuing our living room makeover — including the very first steps of our wallpaper project. It already feels warmer, softer, and so much cosier.

I also made a Christmas simmer pot to bring natural Christmas scents into the home, and baked homemade cinnamon swirls… the perfect treat after a morning of homemaking and working on the land.
