Hey where's my other shoe it was right

Auto auto hey boy I'm getting my shoes
on and my shoe is right here but now
it's not here anymore have you seen it
any idea where it might
be I got to get ready so I can go to the
store and get all this stuff hey do you
think you might be able to help me find
it oh good good boy if anyone can find
it he can in the meantime you want to
read a story I got a good one let's
read The Elves and the shoe maker once
upon a time there lived a hardworking
shoe maker and his wife by no fault of
their own they had become so poor and
had nothing left but leather to make one
pair of shoes so
in the evening the shoe maker cut out
the shoes he wished to make the next
morning and placed the leather on his
table he laid down quietly in his bed
said his prayers and went to sleep in
the morning he went to sit down for work
and two shoes stood finished he was
astounded he took the shoes in his hands
to observe them closer they were so
neatly made that that there was not one
bad stitch in them soon after a buyer
came in and the perfectly cobbled shoes
pleased him so much that he paid more
for them than was customary and with
that money The Humble shoe maker was
able to purchase leather to make two
more pairs of shoes just as before he
cut out the leather at night and set it
on the table to start stitching the next
day he awoke in the morning morning with
fresh courage to begin his work but the
shoes were once again already made both
pairs were masterpieces just as before
eager buyers gave him enough money to
buy leather to make four more pairs of
shoes and the following morning he found
four pairs made and so it went on
constantly what he cut out in the
evening was finished by the morning the
shoem maker soon had his honest
Independence again and continued his
work he soon became a wealthy man one
evening not long before Christmas when
the shoe maker had been cutting out
leather for more shoes he said to his
wife what do you think about staying up
tonight to see who it is that lends us
this helping hand his wife liked the
idea lit a candle and the two hid thems
eles in a corner of the room behind some
clothes that were hanging up there and
watched at midnight two little elves
came tiptoeing in from nowhere with
barely any clothes on they sat down at
the shoemaker's table took all the work
which was cut out before them and began
to stitch sew and Hammer their little
fingers were quick and skillful and the
shoem maker was so astonished he could
not turn his eyes away the elves did not
stop until all was done and pairs of
shoes stood finished on the table then
the small men quickly ran
away the next morning the wife said
those elves have made us rich and we
really must show that we are grateful
for it they barely have any clothes on
and must be cold I will make them little
shirts coats vests and trousers and knit
stockings for both of them and you
should make them two little pairs of
shoes the Shoemaker liked the idea I
shall be very glad to do it one night
when everything was ready the husband
and wife laid their presents all
together on the table instead of the
usual cutout work they then concealed
themselves to see how their secret
helpers would behave
at midnight the elves came bounding in
and wanted to get to work at once but
they did not find any leather cut out
only the pretty little articles of
clothing they were surprised and
confused and then delighted they dressed
themselves up swiftly and sang now we
are boys so fine to see why should we
longer cobblers be the elves danced and
skipped and leapt over chairs and
benches and then they danced out of the
doors from that time on the elves came
no more but as long as the Shoemaker
lived all went well with him and the
work he continued to do prospered thanks
to the strange but selfless elves who
once helped him the end wow what a fun
tale about being a helper you know this
story also has another important message
it's about showing gratitude or thanks
to those who help you and uto good boy
you found it buddy oh no no no no no no
no no no no no no no we don't chew the
shoe good
boy good boy Otto I knew you could find
it you know doing something nice for
others is always important but doing
something for someone who has helped you
you shows even greater appreciation and
I appreciate that many times people who
go out of their way to help others also
need a little bit of help themselves and
the more we help each other the better
our communities will be right right you
