The Freshman Football Reality | A JV Season of Learning & Growth
Episode 385
Gavin's (9th grade WR) JV highlights. The 9th graders were supposed to have a 9th grade football team but with a whole new coaching staff that team got nixed which is a shame for Gavin and the rest of the freshman. The varsity team rarely plays even the 2nd string players. It's pretty much the starters and rotation guys. Which means the JV games are almost all 2nd string players trying to get reps so 3rd string and 9th graders just didn't get much playing time this year.
But Gavin tried to make the most of it by continuing to learn the new offense and working on being a better receiver. As he continues to grow and develop, hopefully he will get more reps so that he can continue to improve.
