Giving Money to Consumers Will Open Health Care Market, Drive Down Premiums: Analyst

Joel White, president of the Council for Affordable Health Coverage, discussed with NTD Washington, D.C. bureau chief and host of Capitol Report, how the Affordable Care Act, known as Obamacare, is the most restrictive, expensive health care plan and is responsible for driving up medical costs for Americans.

White also discussed President Donald Trump's plan to give the money to consumers, instead of big insurance companies, so that they can pick their own plan, and how expanding competition and giving people control of their money in a health savings account will drive premiums down.
