Truck Camper Arrives in Europe – Let the Overland Journey Begin!

Join us for the beginning of our European overlanding and truck camping adventure! In this episode, we travel to Ermelo, Netherlands, the town where my father was born. Walking the quiet streets of Ermelo, we reflect on our family roots, history, and the deep meaning behind this journey. While in the Netherlands, we receive exciting news—our overland expedition truck has cleared customs! We drive down to Antwerp, Belgium, where we enjoy a night exploring this beautiful historic city before heading to the Port of Antwerp to finally be reunited with our truck. With our rig back in hand, we officially begin our empty nester travel series across Europe. We return to Holland for our first night of truck camping on European soil, and then reconnect with friends and family.
