We spent a slow, simple weekend on the Oregon Coast — walking by the water, wandering through the woods, trying a little crabbing at the dock, and ending the day with a cozy home-style meal back at our Airbnb.

Moments like these remind me how beautiful the ordinary can be… the sound of the waves, the way Lina stops for every stick she sees, and the comfort of cooking something familiar even far from home.

I’ve always carried two sides within me — the part that loves the stillness of home, and the part that loves to wander.
But weekends like this remind me that both can belong… and that even when I make my plans, God is the One gently directing my steps.
