The LUMIX S1 Mark II cameras isn't just powerful on the inside.
Every design choice and control is built for creators who need speed, flexibility, and reliability in any environment.
The 1.84 million dot tilt-free angle monitor gives you the best of both worlds.
The stability of a tilting screen and the versatility of a fully articulating one.
Perfect for low angles, overheads, or self-recording without compromising on composition.
On top of that, the fully articulating screen prevents the screen from hitting the cables and reducing risk of accidental disconnection.
Ensuring safer and more reliable operation during use.
The 5.76 million dot OLED viewfinder delivers a crisp, true-to-life preview, making it easier to nail focus and exposure even in bright daylight.
You can easily switch between stills, videos, and slow and quick modes with just a few flicks with a dedicated photo, video, and S&Q dial.
If you already own either the S1 Mark II, the S1 Mark IIe, or the S1R Mark II, you can now save and restore camera settings to a memory card and upload them to a different S1 Mark II camera.
The way to access this is by going to the menu setup page with the wrench icon.
On the fifth tab under settings, click save slash restore camera settings.
Click the save option to save the current camera settings to a memory card.
Now insert that memory card into a different S1 Mark II camera and access the same page.
Click load, select your memory card, and load the camera settings to the different camera body.
This is perfect if you work on multiple bodies or you want a quick setup reset before a new shoot.
This does not transfer all the settings exactly over since some of the video modes may differ between the models.
It does transfer all your custom function buttons, LUTs, and how you set up your entire camera.
The focus ring can also be used as a control, letting you adjust settings like your ISO, white balance, aperture, and photo styles.
Currently, this is only available with certain lenses, which are the S series 20-60mm, 24-60mm, 24-105mm, and the S Pro 50mm.
To access this feature, go to the menu custom tab, go down to the lens page, and click focus ring setting during autofocus.
Select the function you want to assign the focus ring.
And lastly, you can change the direction of the ring's rotation underneath the setting tab.
The S1 Mark II cameras are tested to operate at negative 10 degrees Celsius,
and you can add the DMW-BG2 battery grip for extended runtime and comfortable vertical shooting,
with all controls duplicated for quick access.
For ergonomical design to intelligent controls, the S1 Mark II cameras are built to keep up with you, no matter how or where you create.
