Moreton Corbet Castle - Stunning Shropshire Ruin
anding just outside Shawbury, Shropshire, are the remains of Moreton Corbet Castle - probably one of the least visited attractions in Shropshire. The castle has something of a split personality. As you approach the site of the ruin you could be forgiven for thinking you're visiting the remains of an Elizabethan country house, but when you step through the hedge you then glimpse the sandstone walls of the medieval section of Moreton Corbet Castle.
As I travelled along the A5 to Moreton Corbet Castle I was really pleased to see that there were some terrific clouds to timelapse, but when I arrived at the castle, the sky was almost entirely blue. I managed to set up for a couple of shots where the clouds were too close to the horizon to add any real drama.
