I wish there was a pen.
If you come down head first, you could die.
There you go, slow breath still. Slow breath.
I keep fixing things and nothing's actually being fixed for us anymore.
It's been four weeks since I started my journey on America's Got Talent Fantasy League.
I just finished my first round, and in the end, all the training and hard work paid off because I got the golden buzzer,
which means I'm moving on to the finals against nine of the most talented performers from around the world.
If I want a chance at winning this thing, I need to dream up something nobody has ever seen before.
And that something is inside this trunk.
This is gonna be scary when I first go up.
It took two weeks out of my practice time to finish this huge contraption,
so I haven't been able to do much except figure out the rest of my routine.
Now with only ten days left until my final performance,
it makes me ask a question that I'm worried to know the answer to.
Will I be able to learn such a challenging new trick in time,
or will I make a complete fool of myself in front of millions?
I'm gonna have to get ready for this scary, scary feeling.
Because, like, if you were to fall, you're like...
You're gonna get your face down.
God, it's the height that's tripping me out right now.
Okay, wait, I just need to feel that.
It's okay.
Okay.
Nice.
Hands down.
Fine.
Right now there's two issues that I think are a real hurdle she has to get through.
One is just pure stamina.
This is incredibly draining.
And then secondarily, it's allowing her mind to relax.
If there's any fear at all in there, it stops that thought process.
So you have to really relax, have to feel exactly where you need to be,
and be consistent with it.
There's a reason why you don't do things like this a week before,
but we're doing it a week before.
Two, one, go.
Okay, stop it.
Can we hop so it's a little better?
Oh, shoot, I missed.
I'm going too slow because I keep slowly drifting this way.
Sorry, I'm sorry.
Holy s***!
Anytime somebody is at risk, especially head down,
you have to put a safety on them.
Anything over four feet, if you come down head first, you could die.
So when you're doing it, especially this high up in the air,
we wanted to protect her at all costs.
Blisters.
Sorry, I'm pretty sure skin fell on you.
We're selling my skin on eBay.
$7,000 is a flake.
I heard somewhere that it takes 10,000 hours to become a master at something.
They're like the tiniest little injuries, but they hurt so much
because they're in such a weird spot.
But I don't only have to master the hops.
I have the straps and the canes that I need to perfect as well.
So let's try cramming that 10,000 into just 10.
Stop!
But sometimes, in the race for perfection, our bodies have trouble keeping up.
My wrists just hurt.
I don't know if they did, but I feel like my hands have bruised.
I'm going to do this right here.
Maybe you should take a break today.
I was like, I don't want to take a break.
This is something you should be training at minimum a month.
Happy, happy, joy, joy. Happy, happy.
The show is only three days away, and I know I can power through the pain until then.
But, of course, we all know the saying, when it rains, it pours.
OK.
We're going to do it. Don't do that.
S***.
Something broke.
I was really hoping today I could do the hops, but we can't because there's some glitches.
Hopefully, we can get them fixed.
Kind of a little bit of a setback today, but it's fine.
It's going to have to be fine, actually.
It's not, it's fine. It's just going to have to be, it's fine.
All right, ice bath time, guys.
So, why are you doing the ice bath?
My body's in pain right now.
What part of your body?
Mainly my hands.
All right, so you should keep your hands in for sure.
My arms and upper back.
I mean, it is very difficult, but after the four to five minute mark, you're fine.
But it's pretty painful before then.
Hold on. Holy cow, that's hard.
Hold on, restart my song. Restart my song. It'll get me going.
To all the influencers who say they do this every day and enjoy this,
you all are liars because there's no way you guys are actually doing this every day and enjoying this.
If any of you have ever done an ice bath, this is painful. This is just straight up painful.
I feel dizzy. Is this normal?
I'm like trying not to shiver. I keep shivering.
Oh my gosh.
There it is.
As quick as it began, my performance is now 24 hours away.
Today will be my very first rehearsal on the main stage.
This is wild.
I gotta say, it's a little freaky seeing how good everyone is.
Right now, we're just getting B-roll shots and stuff like that, but also warming up, training, that whole thing.
It was via unbeatable, which I didn't know really worked until just now, but through a giant effort.
I am still really sore today even though I took yesterday off, and my hand somehow hurts more.
This is the one time I'm just gonna say I'm pushing through the pain because I don't care.
I have to do this, so I'm pushing through the pain.
But my wrists aren't the only thing in pain.
My whole body became tired out of nowhere.
It's like all my training finally caught up to me in this very moment.
But as always, the show waits for nobody, and it's time to set up the machine on the big stage.
Wait, a little, just a tiny bit more upstage.
Just a tiny bit.
Wait, no, no, a little too much.
No, that way.
Yeah, that should be good.
One, two, three, coming up.
Ball is out.
Okay, coming straight down.
Nice and easy on that pad.
The producers let me know I only have 20 minutes on stage today.
It took 15 to set up my machine, so I really only get one shot at rehearsing.
Everything started off perfect.
But when I got in the air, I noticed my line was a bit off-center, which makes landing a little more difficult.
The canes made me realize that training the same muscles seven days in a row completely destroys your stamina.
And by the time I got to the hops, my arms were completely giving out.
I could only do half my normal hops.
We need to move about three inches downstage.
It does seem like it's pulling her upstage.
Yeah, we need to move downstage about three or four inches.
And with that, my time is already up.
So I have to pack up and hope tomorrow I feel better and the technical issues will be fixed.
It was a bit rough, I'm not gonna lie.
I was very stressed out.
There was a bit of a mishap.
The line was two inches too close.
So if he caught me with the line, it was launching me forward.
Besides that, I was very stressed, very upset.
But right now, we're actually going to check out my bodysuit.
So we're going to wardrobe right now.
And this is the bodysuit.
This is gorgeous.
I love this.
It's the show.
I'm freaking out.
I'm nervous, excited.
We have a lot on our agenda today.
But first, let's get all glammed up.
We're done.
With my makeup done and outfit on, it's time to head to my final rehearsal.
You have a little bit of time.
Ramadani hasn't gone out there yet to do their check.
Just curious, show time, do you know what I am?
I think you're like seventh or eighth.
Yeah, you're later in the show.
That's kind of nice.
Were you able to get some rest yesterday?
Oh my god, yeah.
I grabbed lunch, and then literally at like 2 p.m., I crashed.
And then woke up at like 5, was up for an hour, and I was like,
I'm just going to go back to bed.
You probably needed it.
Your body is probably like obsessed.
After waiting backstage for a while, I started to get really antsy.
I already feel so much adrenaline in me right now.
I need to calm down for show time.
So I decided to get a sneak peek of the Ramadani Brothers act
to get a feel for what I'm up against.
But instead of a sneak peek, I got the full view of just how good their act is.
A 100% flawless rehearsal.
But as competitive as I am, it was just what I needed to get pumped for this performance.
This has to go right, because Heidi and the executive producers are watching.
And this is my final chance to make sure everything is perfect.
Are you going to walk on an elephant or something like that?
I think I'm going to have to learn extra diapers.
I feel like extra scared today.
When I first stood up on the Wheel of Death, I could not think I could do one hop.
Let alone the 20-something I'm doing on the show.
I'm not going to lie, I am very nervous for this because I've had little to no practice.
And this is definitely something you should be practicing at for years.
If you never do something because you're scared of failing,
you might as well have failed by default.
I think it's worth it to try.
To push yourself to be able to do something that you never thought you'd be able to do.
Give it up for Sophie Gossi!
It's so beautiful up there, and then you do these crazy things.
I love it, and I love you, and I love your act.
Yeah, that was actually perfect practice because towards the end I was getting a little nervous
because this was my first run-through.
So I was a little bit like that, but just because I was a little nervous, you can't tell.
But I think that was awesome.
I think I have about three hours until the show.
But yeah, I'm getting really excited.
It's really... God, every time I'm looking at going out there, I'm like...
Butterflies, man. Butterflies.
It's just going to be me standing here and looking stressed.
This is worse because now you're away, and now this is really awkward right now.
This is so awkward.
Now I'm just by myself, standing here.
Hi!
How are you?
Enjoy tonight. Good luck.
Thank you.
Congratulations for getting here.
Oh, thank you. Thank you so much.
You deserve it.
I didn't realize he was behind me.
Are you excited? You guys excited?
Excited. Up now.
You got to let the jitters sit in.
I know. I'm like, I kind of don't like that though.
I'm like, come on.
Yeah, we're early this time. Usually we're like later.
It was kind of nice last time being fourth.
After that, I was like...
Yeah, you can breathe.
And then I was like, I can now focus on whatever they want me to do.
Well, you got to go with them others, so you didn't have to...
Thank God, because I don't know what I would have done.
Hopefully we'll get it.
But yeah, this was a lot of fun, so we're going to be killing it, man.
Good luck to you.
Yeah, good luck to you.
Ready?
Yeah, you ready?
This may look a bit silly, but it's me mentally going through my routine.
It's also really cold out, so I want to make sure I keep my body warm.
And I also have to make sure my arms are still pumped and warmed up to do the hops.
Watching the people are giving me anxiety, and then can't watch it.
And I was like, I need to calm and be in my mode.
I can't watch other people right now. I have to be in my mood.
In your mind, you're like, I'm about to be up there.
So it's like watching the stage and thinking that.
So then you get the adrenaline rushes and you're basically going to be on the stage,
but then you're not on stage.
So I was just like, I can't keep watching this.
I think that's a bad idea.
And it's just making me panic for no reason when I can literally be focusing right now.
Aiden's after them. Billy and Emily.
That dancer guy.
And then it's me.
I'm glad I remembered then.
It would have been raining lifesavers out there.
Hey audience.
Minty freshness.
They never said we couldn't ride.
I think it's time to change.
We came to dance.
I need that.
Push that soul heart in your skin, sweetie.
As long as my performance does well, that's okay.
Come next.
I feel that.
Yeah, not right.
So apparently you don't talk to the judges this time.
I will say thank God to them.
It's like before we're talking, I don't like to turn it on.
As judges, you have to say big, you have to be like, it's Sophie Dossi.
You're the best contortionist in the world.
You're the greatest.
Look at you.
And then you're like, thanks.
Now I have to go be the greatest contortionist in the world.
You're ready so early, you're so stressed.
I know.
That's scary.
I heard the audience go, ooh.
So just to hear maybe something that all the judges said wasn't good, I'm just, it's scary.
How do we feel?
Are we ready?
Yeah.
Feeling good.
Just nervous.
I'm starting to realize how crazy and stupid of a decision I made.
Because seven days ago, I just learned this move.
And now I'm performing it for the whole world to see.
This is, I think, the most terrifying thing I've ever done.
And I'm so beyond stressed out.
The best thing I can do right now is meditate and imagine my routine over and over in my head.
If I stop thinking about my routine, I just go to all the things that could go wrong.
And I can't be thinking about that at all.
There is no room in my mind for failure.
The anticipation, man, is killing me right now.
I'm so happy about that.
We did it.
It went great.
You did good?
It went great.
Yep.
There was nothing wrong.
Perfect.
Yeah, thank you very much.
You did great.
I'm so proud of you.
Thank you so much.
Thank you.
Hey, you're welcome.
You did such a good job.
You killed it.
Life can throw some crazy things at you.
In my case, it was AGT.
But for you, it could be anything.
Just know that when that big crazy moment happens, you'll rise to the occasion.
Wow.
Oh my gosh.
Wow.
