Come along with me for a week with the horses. The weather is definitely changing and I can't help but think winter is near. The animals are all prepared for winter eating lots of hay and growing in their winter coats.
We've spent a lot of time cozy and under the barn lately but also making sure to stick to our training schedule. Although cold and at times miserable, the winter months I've found are a great time to train horses. I can't really explain why that is. Maybe because life slows down in general so we have more time with our horses.
