Hey guys, welcome back. So in today's video, we are doing my updated winter self-tanning routine.
I've been using a new product that I am obsessed with and I want to share with you guys.
So if you know me, if you know my channel, I like to be tan year round. I like to always look like
I just got back from the beach. So therefore, one of my most asked questions is always,
what self-tan do you use? So anytime I'm using a new self-tanner, I want to share the bronze
wealth with you guys. So I've been using a new one from Bondi Sands. This is their liquid gold
self-tanning foam. They recently launched this in the US. It's now available at Walgreens.
I am partnering with Bondi Sands for this video, but I love their stuff. I've worked with them
many times in the past and I truly, truly think that their products are top-notch, the best.
So yeah, the liquid gold foam is now available in the US. I have a whole video on the liquid gold
spray, which I totally love. And if you guys love that product, you will love this as well. It's the
same golden color that's not orange, not streaky. Now it's available in a foam application. So it's
a little bit easier to use, a little bit quicker, but still really good. And I still really love
both. So my favorite thing about the liquid gold line is that you don't have to wash it off. It's
like a no wash off formula because it doesn't have a deep dark color guide. It has a little
bit of a tint, which you guys will see in the demo. So you can see where you're applying it,
but it doesn't have this crazy dark bronzer in it that looks scary when you're going out in public.
So I love that it doesn't transfer to your clothes or your sheets. You don't have to like hide in
your bed after you apply self-tanner and it doesn't have a crazy smell. So this honestly just
smells like coconuts to me and it is made with argan oil and coconut oil. So it's very hydrating
on the skin. I have pretty dry skin, especially during the winter. So I love that this is made
with coconut oil and argan oil because it does not dry on my skin at all or go super patchy or
weird. So I love that about it. I actually applied it yesterday. So I have a nice fresh coat of tan
on and I'll show you guys the before and after side by side in the demo, but yeah, it's not
streaky. It's not orange and it looks very similar in color to how I naturally would tan in the sun.
So that's what I love about it. It's also really long lasting and I like to use it in conjunction
with the everyday tanning milk. I just talked about this in my November favorites. This stuff is so
good. Again, super moisturizing, great for the wintertime, but these are definitely my two staples
for my winter self-tanning routine. They keep your skin nice and moisturized and obviously tanned. So
if you guys want to see how I apply the liquid gold, this stuff literally is liquid gold, then
we're going to get into the demo. Alright, so the day before I like to prep my skin and first I will
go in with my self-tan eraser. This is just a nice little foam that helps to break down any
leftover self-tan that you have on your skin. It's really nice and easy to use, very gentle. So you
just rub it into your skin, leave it on for about five minutes and then you can just hop in the
shower and remove it with a wet, warm washcloth and it comes off really nice and easily. So as you
guys will see on the washcloth, it just takes it right off. And then the last step that I like to
do when prepping my skin for my tan is exfoliating and for that I'm using my Bondi Sands exfoliating
mitt. I love this. It just removes any dead skin cells so that your tan applies the most evenly.
Then I'm just going to go in with my liquid gold foam and start applying it with my Bondi Sands
mitt and it's honestly super easy. So you can see that there's a little bit of a tint to the foam,
but honestly once you rub it in, it kind of disappears. So I'm just going to apply this
all over and if I'm being honest, in the winter time I don't always do a full body self-tan,
but today I did my arms and my legs because I was going to be wearing a skirt. So I'm just
applying this all over and I am just doing one layer of this, but if you guys like it super dark,
you can wait 30 minutes and then go in with another coat or you can apply two days in a row
or you can combine it with the everyday tanning milk, but I'm just doing one layer because it's
winter and I don't feel the need to be super dark. And to do my back, I feel like I just have long,
flexible arms. I just do it by myself. I don't need any help. And as you guys probably already
noticed, I have makeup on my face already because I typically don't self-tan my face. It's just a
personal preference. You totally can, but now I'm just using a makeup brush to apply it to my neck
and to my ears and I do have a weird scratch on my neck from my dog. So if you guys see that splotch,
it's kind of unavoidable right now. I'm just waiting for it to heal, but now I'm just doing
my legs and I wanted to do a quick side-by-side so you guys could see the tint. It's not super
noticeable, but I did want to show it side-by-side for a comparison. But after you are done applying,
you can get dressed. It dries fairly quickly and then you can just go about your day. Do whatever
you've got to do. I just ran some errands and then you want to leave it on for about six hours before
you get wet or get in the shower. And so here is the before and after. The final result is a gorgeous
golden bronze tan. So I hope you guys enjoyed this video. Thank you so much for watching and I'll see
you guys next time. Baby, I really don't think that you need self-tanner, buddy. I don't think you need it. You're pretty dark.
