Why We Stopped the ESL Live Stream... (ft. @TEFLLemon )

Hey everyone, it’s Mike here from Mike’s Home ESL! 👋
In this video, Stuart Allen from @TEFLLemon and I share the real reason why we decided to pause the ESL Live Stream.
Since COVID and new regulations in China, the ESL world has changed; fewer jobs, more competition, and a big shift toward international schools that mostly hire native speakers.

We still love helping teachers around the world, but weekly streams take time, and family comes first.
So now, we’re planning monthly live sessions with special topics and workshops.

I’m also working on new projects like Terracotta Vlog @terracottavlog2648 , where I share my life in Xi’an, China; the city where Mike’s Home ESL began back in 2017.
