Magical Fairytale Woodland Photography - Ancient Trees, Autumn Leaves and an encounter with cows!.mp4
In this video, I take my Canon R6 Mark II, tripod, and a selection of lenses — my 50mm, 105mm macro, and 17–40mm wide-angle — to a magical, fairytale woodland for some autumn photography.
I arrive early and have the entire place to myself — perfect for capturing the colours of autumn, the ancient trees, and the peaceful atmosphere. As I explore the forest, I share a few tips on autumn woodland photography.
Things take an unexpected turn when I have an encounter with some curious cows, leaving me temporarily trapped — but it turns into a surprisingly good photo opportunity!
Later, I follow the river through the valley, capturing long exposure shots with my polarizing and ND filters, before climbing up onto the moorland for more photos (and another run-in with the cows).
To round off the day, I visit The Anchor Inn, a beautiful pub built in 1699, where I enjoy half a pint of Unicorn and reflect on a day of autumn colours, long exposures, and unexpected adventures.
