SOYBEAN HARVEST 2025 JOHN DEERE S790i Combine
Hello everyone, back on my channel. Today, in this video, we follow the Massignani Team as they thresh the 2025 soybeans. At work, we find the John Deere S790i combine harvester, whose technical specifications I'll list below as usual. I hope you enjoy the video, and I'll see you again in future productions ;).
JOHN DEERE S790i Specifications:
The John Deere S790i is a high-end S700 Series combine harvester, designed to deliver high harvesting performance with maximum efficiency and precision. It is equipped with a 13.5-liter, 6-cylinder John Deere PowerTech™ PSS engine, capable of delivering a nominal power of approximately 405 kW (543 hp), with a power boost of up to approximately 37 kW (50 hp) in the most demanding load situations. The engine's nominal speed is approximately 2,100 rpm, and the fuel tank has a capacity of 1,250 liters, ensuring excellent operating autonomy during long harvesting days.
The threshing and separation system is of the rotor type, with a single rotor measuring 3,124 mm long and 762 mm in diameter. The rotor speed can be adjusted between 210 and 1,000 rpm to adapt to different crops and harvesting conditions. The concave area is approximately 1.1 m², while the total separation area reaches 1.54 m², allowing for high threshing capacity and efficient separation of grain from residue.
The grain cleaning system offers a total surface area of 5.9 m² and uses a fan adjustable between 620 and 1,350 rpm to ensure thorough cleaning of the grain. The grain tank has a capacity of 14,100 liters (approximately 400 bushels), and the unloading speed reaches 135 liters per second (approximately 3.8 bushels per second), allowing for rapid emptying even while driving.
From a structural standpoint, the S790i has an operating weight (without header) of approximately 20,750 kilograms. Overall dimensions, depending on configuration, are approximately 9.1 meters long, 3.99 meters wide, and 4.0 meters high.
This machine integrates advanced technologies for intelligent harvesting management, including automation systems, real-time monitoring, and digital connectivity. It is designed to work efficiently with John Deere 600X and 700FD Series headers, offering versatility for different crop types and field conditions.
