Filmed across Nepal — from the towering Himalayas to the lush southern jungles — this documentary follows the Manaslu Circuit Trek through some of the country’s most remote and breathtaking landscapes.

Along the way, we visit Samagaun, the highest large settlement in the Manaslu region, situated at 3,800–4,000 meters above sea level. Here, life unfolds in stone houses warmed by wood fires, where locals raise yaks, cows, goats, and mule hybrids for transport. There are no roads or vehicles — only narrow mountain trails connecting the villages.

As the journey continues south, snow-covered peaks fade into green valleys and subtropical forests. In the lowlands, life takes on a new rhythm — rice paddies stretch across the plains, and traditional dishes feature snails and other local delicacies.

This film offers a vivid look at daily life, traditions, and culture across Nepal’s diverse regions — from Tibetan Buddhist communities in the high mountains to Nepali and Hindu villages in the jungles. A journey through changing climates, beliefs, and ways of life — revealing the many worlds within one remarkable country.
