CLARIFICATIONS:
This video shows the historical anthems of mainland China, and as of today, the People's Republic of China controls mainland China. However, determining which is China is controversial as the Republic of China did not cease to exist, but was relocated mainly to the island of Taiwan. Both the Republic of China and People's Republic of China claim to be the sole China (as an entity), and it's an extremely controversial geopolitical issue.
There may a separate video soon about the anthem history of Taiwan in my channel, which includes the current Republic of China. I haven't made it yet, but there are other channels showing the anthem history specific to Taiwan.
