My impressions of the newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum! I went on opening day to see what these 7,000 years of history are all about.

I just raw-dogged it without a plan or a guide, and tried to see as much as possible. Simultaneously overwhelming and beautiful. Really made me realize how deeply the Egyptians thought about life and death...
