TRAIL OF DESTRUCTION: Box truck damages cars on narrow street; driver flees

Police are searching for the box truck driver who damaged several parked cars Monday morning while attempting to squeeze down a narrow South Philadelphia street.

The incident happened just after 9:15 a.m. on Pierce Street. As it maneuvered through the tight space, it struck multiple vehicles before speeding away.

"I've never seen something like that. It was insane," said Eddie Alfaro, a South Philadelphia resident. "He totaled the two cars, and we were like screaming right behind him and he did not stop."
