NYC Sees Largest Early Voting in a Mayoral Race in History

President Donald Trump is increasing pressure on Democrats to end the weeks-long government shutdown, blaming them for the Senate stalemate and insisting he "won’t be extorted" into extending Obamacare subsidies.

As the shutdown continues, millions of Americans are starting to lose access to food assistance and other benefits. Around 750,000 federal workers have been furloughed since government funding ended.

When asked if he's directing his administration to move around funds so SNAP benefits can continue, Trump called on Democrats to "open up the country."
