Paint a Peaceful Coastal Sunrise in Watercolour in a Loose Style | Expressive Landscape Painting
This warm and peaceful scene is inspired by our Australian beaches. I wanted this painting to capture that beautiful moment when the sun has just risen, the air is heavy with warmth and sea mist, and everything feels new and full of promise. This sense of quiet stillness is so calming to paint,
and I think watercolour is the perfect medium to capture that sunrise glow.
As always, I will explain my decision-making and my techniques along the way.
