Expert: China makes every effort to protect Xizang's intangible cultural heritage

And over the past 70 years, well, Xi'an has organized large-scale and systematic surveys and collected and researched cultural heritage. A total of 4,277 cultural relic sites of all kinds have been examined and registered. And Xi'an has 1,985 cultural relic sites under protection of governments at different levels. And meanwhile, we have also made a lot of investment in protecting different relics. And meanwhile, we also have different national projects dedicated to cultural heritage at different levels. For example, we also have 522 represented figures on barriers of world culture, relics, and heritage. And by the end of 2022, 151 ICH workshops in Xi'an directly employed more than 6,000 people. And third, cultural heritage is booming. Protecting and inheriting excellent traditional culture sustains national spirit and protects our national memory. More importantly, it enables peoples from different groups of ethnic divisions to enjoy high quality of public cultural services and live happily. And the Chinese government has been promoting the development of Tibetan culture and cultural industries. And in 2021, the Xi'an cultural industry saw its added value hit 6.8 billion CNY. All these points to booming cultural industry.
