A few days before NYE I left Amman and headed down south to check out 2 must-see places in Jordan – Petra and the Wadi Rum desert. The ancient city of Petra in Jordan is one of the 7 New Wonders of the World. Walking through the narrow canyon in search of the old hidden town was exhilarating. The Wadi Rum desert, also known as the Valley of the Moon is one of the most incredible wildernesses I've seen.
