Victoria Mboko vs. Leylah Fernandez ｜ 2025 Hong Kong Semifinal ｜ WTA Match Highlights).

She's so good around the net, so pacey. And she's looking good to doing just that. That's well played, nice anticipation from Mboke. Oh wow, Leila Fernandes. Oh, she's done it again. She's winning all the key battles here, Fernandes. Well, everything at the moment, Leila Fernandes is hitting. Yeah, too easy, not enough depth there for Mboke. And Fernandes so quick to get over. Didn't look the most convincing of challenges this by Fernandes. It's a bit of a half-hearted raise of the racket. Suspect this might have caught the light. Yep. Oh, and suddenly it's all coming off Mboke. Yeah, good approach play and then well watched at the net there. Oh, this wonderful striking of the ball for Mboke on the horizon. And there is no better way to go into that final set from Mboke's point of view than breaking your opponent to love. We are set up beautifully. The clash of the two Canadians will go the distance. One settle here on centre court. Now it's become love 30. Back with an excellent first serve. That is absolutely magnificent. Oh, well played. Sharp work around the net from Fernandes. Oh, what a shame. What a shame for Leila Fernandes. But for Victoria Mboke, she's into the Hong Kong final on debut. And her season just gets better and better and better. She had to fight hard though against Leila Fernandes, her fellow Canadian. Because Fernandes got off to a flyer but Mboke stuck in there. And once she got that break in the final set, there was no looking back.
