Senate GOP leadership Opposes Eliminating the Filibuster

Republicans in both chambers have shown opposition to eliminating the filibuster and warn that it could open the door to less moderate politics. Sens. Cortez Masto (D-Nev.), Angus King (I-Maine), and John Fetterman (D-Pa.) are the three Democrats who have consistently voted to reopen government. Fetterman has even supported ending the filibuster just for the funding battle votes.
