Melissa Devastates Caribbean, Aid underway

On Thursday, Caribbean communities began surveying the destruction left by Hurricane Melissa, which has claimed over 30 lives. The storm hit Jamaica on Tuesday as a deadly Category 5 hurricane and is now a Category 2 system moving through the Bahamas toward Bermuda. Hurricane warnings remain in effect for Bermuda. Jamaica, Cuba, and Haiti were hardest hit, with homes destroyed and utility poles toppled.
