If she gives me half a chance at romance, I'm gonna dance her home.
Step, step, step, kick, tap, tap.
Go right, go left.
Step out and back and right toe, right toe.
Heel, heel, toe, toe.
Heel, toe, heel, toe.
Step, kick, back, tap.
Go right, go left.
Out and back and right toe, right toe.
Heel, heel, toe, toe.
Hi, my name's Kyle.
I'm from Urban Cowboy Line Dancing in Nashville, Tennessee.
And I'm gonna teach you a dance today called Cowboy Hustle.
It's one of my favorite dances.
It's a classic dance from the 90s.
We do it in California quite a bit.
It's a good dance because you can do it to almost any song
that has a little bit of an upbeat pace to it.
And you can do it to a lot of country songs.
So I really like it a lot.
And here we go, Cowboy Hustle.
We're gonna start with the right foot.
We're gonna go heel, heel, toe, toe.
Heel, toe, heel, toe.
From here, you're gonna step forward with your right.
You're gonna kick your left foot out.
Step back and just tap your right toe here.
Don't put your weight on the right foot.
And now do it again.
Step forward, kick your left out.
Step back and tap that right toe again.
Don't put your weight on it.
Okay, so let's combine those first two sections.
We're gonna go heel, heel, toe, toe.
Heel, toe, heel, toe.
Step, kick, back, tap.
From here, we'll do a right grapevine.
So we're gonna go right, left behind, right together, clap.
Now we're gonna do a left grapevine
with a variation at the end.
At the end of this grapevine, we're gonna turn
and face that wall that's on our left.
And we're gonna kick our right foot out at the end.
So it's gonna look like left, right behind, left, kick,
step out, and then drag your left foot in
and then step right back with that left foot immediately.
So when you kick that right foot out
at the end of the grapevine,
you wanna make sure you scrape your right heel
across the ground, make some contact with the ground
because that is one of the beats.
So it's gonna be left, right, left, kick,
step out together and back together.
And then the last move of the dance,
just with your right foot,
you're gonna go toe, out, toe, out.
And that's the end of the dance.
So from the top, we're gonna go
heel, heel, toe, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe,
step, kick, back, tap, step, kick, back, tap,
go right, left, right, left, right, left,
step out together and back together
and right, toe, right, toe.
And then we start the dance over
from here facing this wall.
Okay, same dance.
Now what we wanna do is add a clap.
When we do our two step kicks with the left foot,
we wanna clap along with it.
So it's gonna be step, kick, back, tap,
step, kick, back, tap.
And then you go into the right grapevine.
So throw in a clap right there.
Let's go ahead and do the dance
starting facing this wall.
Here we go, five, six, seven, eight.
Heel, heel, toe, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe,
step, kick, back, tap, step, kick, back, tap,
go right, left, right, left, right, left,
step out together and back together
and right, toe, right, toe.
Now we go facing this wall.
Five, six, seven, eight.
Heel, heel, toe, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe,
step, kick, back, tap, step, kick, back, tap,
go right, left, right, left, right, left,
step out together and back together
and right and right, okay?
Next wall, five, six, seven, eight.
Heel, heel, toe, toe, heel, toe, heel, toe,
step, kick, back, tap, step, kick, back, tap,
go right, left, right, left, right, left,
step out together and back together
and right, toe, right, toe.
That's the dance.
You just keep repeating it throughout the entire song.
Do all four walls and have a good time with it.
I can come down.
Yeehaw!
She gives me half a chance at romance.
I'm gonna dance her home.
