My first visit to the Miracle Dahlia Garden, Machida Dahlia Garden in Tokyo!

Today, I visited Machida Dahlia Garden, Tokyo's only dahlia garden, for the first time.
Machida Dahlia Garden is home to 4,000 dahlias of 500 varieties planted on a hillside.
They grow dahlias in the heat of Tokyo, which is why they're known as the "Miracle Dahlia Garden."

I visited for the first time on the 15th, but it was cloudy, so I returned two days later on the 17th.
Despite the cloudy weather, there were more flowers and the flowers seemed healthier on the first day.

This year marks Machida Dahlia Garden's 40th anniversary.
This year's opening period is from June 21st to November 3rd. (The flower shop within the garden is open year-round.)
