FDA Accelerates Biosimilar Development to Lower Drug Costs

The FDA and the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) are pushing to lower drug costs by accelerating the development of biosimilars. HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. made the announcement on Wednesday.
