He decides to don his Spider-Man costume and go help the citizens of New York.

Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire from The Great Gatsby and Brothers), a shy and nerdy high school student, develops spider-like superhuman abilities after being bitten by a genetically-altered spider. After a tragedy falls on his family, he must put his abilities to use in order to fight evil.
