► ABOUT THIS ADVENTURE
In August of 2025 I set out on an 8-day backpacking trip in Yosemite National Park. The first 2 days I hiked with my friend Scott ( / @sheety33 ) before continuing by myself. I hiked through the Grand Canyon of the Tuolumne River to Cold Canyon, passed by May Lake, Tenaya Lake, Sunrise Lakes and went off trail to explore a hidden lake. I took the high route above the Merced River watershed and crossed Red Peak Pass—the highest pass in Yosemite—before descending past the Ottoway Lakes and spending a full day exploring off-trail wilderness. I made it to Glacier Point where I hiked the Pohono Trail to Tunnel View.
