It is a nice idea to make a beautiful and easy decoration, as well as to make a nice gift and why not elaborate these projects to sell, do business and earn some extra money. I have used for the elaboration of these beautiful canes, in this case, 3 mm crochet. I have worked with red, white and green wool. We have also worked and used galvanized wire number 20 and we are also using hot silicone and spheres of Technopor Unicel, approximately 14 spheres of the number 1 or 1.5. And we are going to start this beautiful and super easy work. For our new model of Santa Claus candy cane, we are going to work with these spheres of Technopor Unicel and Copor, depending on the country, they have different names. They are approximately 1 inch or 2.5 cm in diameter. You can work them in different sizes and you will get canes of different sizes. For this size, I am going to crochet with this 3 mm crochet and this wool for a 3 mm crochet. I'm going to start with the slip knot, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7 chains. And we are going to crochet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and here where I have slipped I make the single crochet number 7. I turn the work, we take the back loop and I'm going to crochet 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 and 7. Here I have been advancing, I have been passing several spheres, we are simply going to pass them, since the wire that I am using is not very thick, then I could not enter directly with the wire, it is easier to pass the crochet hook first, or as I tell you, if you knit with two needles, look, you can do it with two needles, or if you have those wool needles that you use to upholster furniture, but that have a tip, you can also do it that way. And we go through the wire. What measure of the wire, that will depend on the size of how many spheres we are going to pass finally, how long we want our stick to be. I am using galvanized wire, this is a number, it is not 22, it is a little thicker, it is a number 20, it can be if you have strength in your hands, it can also be a galvanized wire number 18, but it would already be a little thick, very rough, it seems to me. So we pass the spheres in this way. What I am doing is giving the shape here, I am going to place the last sphere here. And finally we are going to bend the wire, if you have a much better pliers, bend the wire at the end and hide it inside. If you have pliers or use material to make bracelets, it will be much easier for you. In this way and here we pass the last one. We are going to put the hot silicone point and between each separation we are going to stick with hot silicone. And before that we are obviously going to give the shape to our cane, although above all the matter is in the part that rotates. We put them like this so that they coincide or we can also intersperse, we can put one that goes in red and the other goes in white and one in red and one in white. Actually, that already depends on the taste of each one of you. And in the final sphere we do exactly the same, we are going to bend so that the wire does not stay out and put the silicone point finally. So there I have passed the 14 spheres. And we are going to stick before bending the last wire because if it requires cutting and there is a lot left over, we cut it and then bend it. So I'm going to stick each of these spaces with hot silicone. So look, once we have it like this, as I told you, we are going to do this and we are going to place hot silicone here and we are going to join so that it is much more fixed. Especially in the upper part that we have to give it the shape of the stick, we take advantage of it to give it the shape. We open slightly, place the hot silicone, a point and stick it. This is very easy, very simple. We have several models of candy sticks on the channel. This is a different candy stick, very curious to say so, since we are working with spheres. So it is very beautiful and also if you want you can elaborate the spheres of different sizes, so it is super easy to decorate the Christmas tree in different sizes.
