It has been our privilege to follow along with the Mute Swans around here, over the last three years.

We've learned so much about them - and we've identified the individual characteristics of quite a few of them.

We we have two reserves, Grebe Lake and the Gravel Pits. On Grebe Lake, Frank rules, and on the Gravel Pits, Claude is in total control.
Will their partners, Francine and Maude, raise more cygnets than just the two that they achieved last year?
Or will there be a changing of territories, or even additional nest sites?

This is more of a documentary, so it's a bit longer than normal - I left out so much - it's been an amazing year!!

Follow along with us to find out, as we document their progress from January 1st through to December 31st.

What a year it has been!!
