🇧🇷 BRA vs. 🇨🇳 CHN - Highlights Quarter Finals | Women's VNL 2023

Well played by Gabby Miara has had a couple of continuation swings and that is bounced by Gong Shengyu Brazil not taking their chances Nice pass And that's what Li Yinyun can do so well Thais is ready, available Macrice is going to keep setting it A little tight, well played by Macrice to keep the ball in play A very clever play by Gong Shengyu Excellent work by Huang Yunlu Li Yinyun gets ready to serve It's a good serve as well Once again Brazil can't go to middle Well played, that's brilliant Right into the corner Touch from Gabby That is a huge monster block from China Well saved by Tanara There is no saving that China take the opening set 25-21 Pressure on China to start the game But their service team locked in as the set went on Able to get the middles involved So this offense able to spread out even more Really making it hard on Brazil's middle blockers To move side to side And those connections for China Really fine tuned as that set went on But questionable start Lavarini looking on, the Poland coach His team playing the winner of this one Middles for both these teams are world class So much misdirection going on And speed with that play for China Good save, free ball coming for Brazil Three front row attackers, two back Can you believe it? China make the block and stop Gabby Much more like it, Carroll makes a block Carroll gets her second block of the game That's great play from China They serve to try and take Gabby out of the play Pass from Julia Bee Carroll, Julia Bryant is with the put away through the middle Will do it, China take set two 25-20 And they lead Brazil by two sets to nothing Oh, massive block, Yuan Xinyue The adjustment, stepping one step to her right And taking away It's in, it has made it, it also touched Gabby That's a good save by China Another chance for Brazil Again though, not quite finding that leap to the middle Could be costly It is costly Good save It wasn't a great set Which is fortunate for Brazil Because they can have a swing But again, China's blocking Has been incredible More trouble for Brazil, more points for China Brazil has to make some kind of adjustment on these swings They can't hit Chance here for Brazil Oh yes, Gabby Her best swing yet Good set point for China The scoreboard's not kept yet, it has now Oh, and it's all over Two aces in a row And Brazil have taken the set What a way to come back That will stay in play And let Brazil have a chance Taken away by China Perfectly placed Nice touch Down ball for China Brazil have been doing a good job Of reducing the number of times China have been able to run the middle Brazil really getting up high with their defence To the net Now they've got a chance to get level Has it made it? Yes it has It's clipped the sideline We saw Joanna trying to attack Or is she going into that approach? It's over now Excellent Create some time by setting from low There's nowhere to go The breakthrough's now been made by China They edge in front It's taken them a while But they've suddenly realised how to stop Tanara They couldn't stop her at all when she came Gabby to the rescue China has to key in on Gabby This is what it's all about now Try and side out of Tanara's slip Not easy But they've given it And China have done it They have beaten Brazil by three sets to one China through to the semi-finals Brazil are going home
