The Padres put up SEVEN runs in the 7th vs Twins🔥

And her eyes hits it through the right side a base in Fernando going to go first to third no problem even with Walner's great arm and the Padres are all set up runners on the corners and nobody out in his tie game seventh inning. Luis Raiz just took advantage of a huge mistake. Abel's Puppet fastballs ninety seven ninety eight followed off over the dugout laid on it falling off down the left field line throws him a curve ball catches the plate speeds up his bat and what do you know to the pull side well first and third action still nobody out great chance for the Padres to put up a crooked number you got a power verse power matchup here Abel and Machado got another dangerous hitter waiting on deck seventh pitch of the at bat to Manny Amat Chateau bangs it through the left side of base in Tatis will come into score and for the first time tonight the Padres lead it's four to three yeah power versus power but that power bat smooth as ever cool as ever as this pitch up and in he gets on top of the four seamer punches it through the left side Padres up by one as you said an opportunity for a crooked number here two on still nobody out O'Hern will be the batter but you'd love to see the wheels come off this inning for the twins O'Hern looking for his first hit of the series three straight singles to begin the seventh inning against Mick Abel and that's on a line out to left center field arise on his way home from third he'll score the throw goes to second base and a fourth straight base hit to begin the seventh inning has put the Padres up five to three one on one off the hits continue that's good hit nice short swing Ryan taking it the opposite way and that will be all for Mick unable to record it out here in the top of the seventh inning nothing doing in the pitch misses two balls and a strike Chris Keyes career has kind of been a bounce around job he's pitched the majors for the Yankees the Orioles the Royals the Cubs now the twins and two and two to sheets right at the knees good pitch that hasn't been called a strike much tonight Oh heard it first Machado with third Padres have already scored twice here in the seven they have chased Abel now facing Christie and sheets lines it into right field a base and Manny will trot home and a six to three Padre lead here in the seven stay hot Gavin sheets another one on another one off and the Padres adding on there's a splitter again or Mary went down to below pitch prior that one a little bit lower but great plate coverage right there by sheets to rifle it to right boy he's swinging well on that off speed pitches recently as well for Gavin Sheets his night is done Bryce Johnson will run for him over at first base and presumably stay in to play the outfield likely center we'll wait and see here's a glacier still only one out with a couple of guys on and strike one from Christie yeah you see the Laureano goes over to left right and Johnson and center that has been the pattern. Yep five hits this inning for the Padres they have passed the baton and now Iglesias to deep left field and gets there to make a nice catch up against the fence and two away as the runners retreat a wonderful play by outman out there and left right handed batting glaciers this ball is going to be hooking up to the left as outman's got a beat on a grass track extension taking away extra bases big out for Minnesota Padres and eight guys to bat last inning and now Cronenworth the eighth guy to hit this inning and he takes low ball one I think if you've watched the Padres offense the last couple of years you know that this is where they really excel the baton passing is expert three runs on five hits here in the seven two and one to Cronenworth Jake has already walked twice here tonight and now I had three balls in his strike against Christie with Elias Diaz waiting on deck good splitter to fill the count three and two he'll throw it anytime those three one splitter the old adage is a throw it three one why not throw it three two let's see another one right here runners go and Cronenworth to left field Altman is back he is at the wall and he can't make the catch both runs going to come in to score as Cronenworth into second base and the Padres have busted it open eight to three here in the seventh Altman got Iglesias but he couldn't get there this time that's another high splitter up in a way Jake does a great job taking it that way he's flirting with the flowers out there and Altman what an effort off the top of the wall he's down on the track here's a closer look and the Padres adding on that's good hitting by Jake lean on it do some damage it's that one in the air to deep left field another shot for Altman it'll be over his head and gone a home run for Diaz his second of the night first pitch homer in the fifth inning and he gets pitch seven here in the big battle in the seven ten to three San Diego again a little spinner right down the middle this one hit on the line does he have enough on it does he elevate it enough he likes flowers there's a bouquet for you out there and left and that's smelling some kind of nice what a night for Elias Diaz all to the Tati's second career multi home run game.
