I am Brad. I'm John. Now then. Mission solved.
Minus Mum. Dad. Well, Dad's not really there either. Dad just did the mixing after the fact.
Every time I do not have the remote next to me.
Anyway. Well, that turns back on again.
Technical issues.
Yes. So, we have ice on drums.
No surprise there. Stacey's rhythm guitar and main vocals. No real surprise there.
Nisha's lead guitar. Again, fairly normal. And Nacy's is on bass. Wait, what?
Okay. Isn't she normally on...
Yeah. Okay, she's doing bass.
Fair enough. Gotta mix things up once in a while.
Yeah. I do kind of forget that
they don't just necessarily play their own instruments.
Which is good.
Yeah. Nacy's also, as I said, she plays bass as well. Anyway, yeah.
They're going to do a band by...
They're going to do a band.
They're going to do a song by a band that no one's ever heard of called Guns N' Roses.
We're having issues today.
Oh, yeah. I'm having talking issues. They're doing Sweet Child O' Mine.
Yeah, great song. Great band. I love the 80s.
It's actually a bit older than I thought, but also being younger than I thought,
as stupid as it sounds. Mostly because I have a tendency to think that Guns N' Roses has been
around for longer than they have been. I always tend to think they started in the early 80s.
No, they didn't.
They were part of the end.
Yeah. Which is why I always think some of their stuff is kind of like,
oh, that has to have been around for longer than 20 years, right?
Oh, it hasn't?
Kind of thing.
I remember the first time I saw them, I'm like, do we really need another band?
And they're like, oh, yeah, apparently we do.
Yeah, we do.
Admittedly short-lived, but yeah.
They put down a lot of great music in a short period of time.
So, yes.
Anyway, and here we are five years later.
Yes.
Nice family band.
Exactly. A little family band from the Philippines covering them.
So, from their debut studio album, which is Appetite of Destruction, which was released in
1987, so literally only 13 years ago now.
The ages were not that long ago.
No, the song wasn't actually released as a single until June of 1988.
So it was like almost a year later.
It was about eight months, I think, later.
It topped the Billboard Hot 100 and was, weirdly enough, the band's only US number one single.
Oh, really?
Yeah.
Remember when Rain wasn't a number one?
No.
I guess we're not aware where Rain was.
Not on the Billboard Hot 100, anyway.
It could have been like a mainstream rock.
Yeah.
Ballad.
Ballads.
Yeah, one of them.
Anyway.
But yeah, the big Billboard Hot 100, which is the, you know, everything rolled into one chart.
Yeah, this was their only number one hit.
Of course, it was also November Rain.
It depends on what it was up against at the time, as well.
Yeah, but I mean, gosh, November Rain, I mean, that was huge.
Yeah.
I don't know if it was huge in my world, because that's the music I listened to.
Well, yeah, that is true.
I guess it could have been.
There could have been other music out there I just wasn't listening to.
There were other songs?
Yeah.
How dare there be?
Maybe Van Halen released something at the same time.
They probably did.
So, you know, that would obviously have been number one over Guns N' Roses.
No one could beat Van Halen.
Just my opinion.
All right, so are we ready?
Yes.
All right, before we get going, make sure you hit the like and subscribe.

Okay.
In four parts, because it's a long song, still not over eight minutes.
Yeah.
So that's a plus.
One day we might do that.
We better shut up, so this doesn't take too long.
Okay.
You just know right away.
It's just that.
First.
Is.
I think the flower is an Easter egg.
I'll zap out about that again.
Yes, you're supposed to mention it.
Well, I'm mentioning it now.
Yeah.
There's still a lot of video left to watch, but yeah, the flower on the
fresh flower on the mic for the keyboard that no one's playing for some reason.
I.
I would never have thought that flower.
Oh.
I'm actively on the lookout for odd things.
That's kind of a.
Um, I will say that, um, they're probably not necessarily hard.
Oh, these days.
Uh, he's still touring.
That's because he doesn't have money.
Anyway.
You're gonna get a suit.
It's pretty accurate.
Of mine.
You'd hear that girl.
Right.
You know, semi top hat.
Yeah.
Just need the hat.
My own hair needs to be curly.
Yeah.
That's, you know, the further, the further into a concert you go, the straighter slash
his hair gets.
Yeah.
To be that age and play that well.
Yeah.
Um, yeah, you got some good drumming in there too.
Mm hmm.
Um, I don't know if you saw a little bit of the video and within the video.
Oh, one of them was down there doing the nice rock hair flip.
Yep.
I think that was, um, I can say those two as well.
I can see that one in the background.
I think it was, um, Nisha.
Hanging her guitar solo up to do some extra bits.
I wasn't, I didn't actually pay that much attention, but I think it was.
I could be wrong.
So I actually just caught it with the corner of my eye.
Yeah.
I was like, no, yeah.
Once again, a lot of fun.
Yeah.
Once again, do another great.
I was gonna say classic, but it is considered classic rock.
They were like pre-2000s because they're a classic now.
It's like, geez.
2000s.
Future.
Weird.
I know.
Yeah.
Another, another fun time with them.
So obviously we're going to continue hitting them up.
So if you want to see those, make sure you hit that like and subscribe.
